Not surprised, our best coach of the past decade was Brady fucking Hoke.
September 2nd, 2018 at 8:35 AM ^
Jimmy ain't helping much. 9-9 in the last 18 games. Unacceptable.
September 1st, 2018 at 11:57 PM ^
Stuff like this doesn’t need to be posted right now. We know this program blows. No need for salt in the wounds
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:04 AM ^
yeah let keep our heads up our ass on how harbough is fucking Michigan over.
September 2nd, 2018 at 1:49 AM ^
You're an idiot. The record is over the past decade. Harbaugh has coached 3 seasons and the first 2 were basically right up there with any other season this decade.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:05 AM ^
False. Read around here.
There are people still living in the 90s who won’t know or believe this.
September 1st, 2018 at 11:58 PM ^
Pathetic. How long until Purdue & Illinois passes us?
September 1st, 2018 at 11:58 PM ^
Look on the bright side. We're only a 40 year run of elite play away from evening things up with Ohio State

And will only get worse.

Given the coaching situation from 2008-2014, this is not at all a shocking stat. I am not sure what I am supposed to get from this quite honestly.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:05 AM ^
You're a mod. Delete it if you don't think it's thread worthy.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:06 AM ^
Make a case that the coaching dramatically improved from 2015-2018.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:10 AM ^
Can you really make a case that the coaching has dramatically improved since 2015?
September 2nd, 2018 at 1:50 AM ^
I will. Harbaugh's record here is much better than Hoke's and Rich Rod's. Done.
September 2nd, 2018 at 11:16 AM ^
I'll do it.
RichRod went 6-18 in Big Ten play (yikes).
Hoke went 18-14.
Harbaugh is 19-8 so far, and that's when the league is about as strong as it's ever been.

At least you do not support rape and racism like other programs in the B1G east.

Really? Lets not get too cocky.

Mind-blowing. Here I was convinced the last decade was a golden age for M football.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:07 AM ^
I think it is mind blowing to a lot of UM fans. Most think we're still an elite program.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:15 AM ^
On a deeper level we are basically a carbon copy of Iowa from '98 to today.
Just with a bigger stadium and more "tradition"
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:19 AM ^
Pretty much sums it up.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:18 AM ^
It's tough for M fans to realize they have more in common with Minnesota than OSU or any other solid program. I am tired of hearing the old line of the number of NC's and "winningest program" garbage. We haven't beaten anyone of substance in years and the program is on life support.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:24 AM ^
^^^^^^This is very well said and based in reality. Well said Sir!
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:29 AM ^
We won't even be the winningest program in a few years anyway, OSU will pass us in win percent and total wins. They've been a machine for 20 years and have no sign of stopping.
September 2nd, 2018 at 7:55 AM ^
Nice post! I don't understand why SOME ichigan fans still talk about the early 1900's, sure it's history of college football but that was 100 years ago for God sakes. Some of those early national championship's who even voted on those? I don't even think they had poles till the 50's or 60's. You guys might be looking at another 4 or 5 loss season.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:32 AM ^
That hit hard, man. Closer to Minnesota than Ohio State..
It truly doesn't seem like we are equal peers to OSU. They have had several playoff appearances, Big 10 championships, and even a national championship in recent memory and we haven't even beaten a ranked opponent on the road in how long now?
4-game losing streak.
September 2nd, 2018 at 12:28 AM ^
That sounds about right

Since Iowa 2016 we are 1-9 in games against "peer level" teams.
September 2nd, 2018 at 1:37 AM ^
Thanks a lot. I knew Michigan sucked the past 10 years, but this puts it in perspective and quantifies by how much. Never has shittyness ever been so well validated. Again, thanks for...that.
September 2nd, 2018 at 9:28 AM ^
Most of the fan base is stuck in the 90s and think we should just show up and win. We are maybe a middle of the pack Big 10 team now. Slowly falling more and more because we have had coach after coach thinking we are elite. Harbaugh can start fixing this by not rolling out 6’3 left tackles and JBB next week. I would say our play was bad there but that’s the norm now for our line. App st has a better Oline right now and that makes me sick.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:30 AM ^
The offensive line recruiting has just been absolutely baffling.
Like, Hoke not taking a QB in 2012 level-baffling.
September 2nd, 2018 at 10:48 AM ^
We feel your pain....wouldn't give up on Coach Harbaugh just yet...I think this stat just shows what a job he has to do and that it won't happen fast. Frost has said the same to our fans.
September 3rd, 2018 at 2:36 PM ^
Serious question.....IF Harbaugh can't fix this, who can? I am annoyed with the product on the field but don't see any promising alternatives either.
