We're so undisciplined under Howard, it's truly pathetic the lack of effort on the boards and defense.

If Beilein was the coach for this very group of players, we'd probably be 13-4 or better, I really believe that.

UM offense is basically dribble to 15 on the clock, swing to get a possible post touch, it’s not there, set shitty screen, guard can’t turn the corner, turnover

Holy shit they’re tied. Based on my view in the stands, there’s no way that wasn’t a shot clock violation. Is that reviewable?

Only a scoring error can be changed, and there are caveats. For a 3-pointer where toe was on the line, they can review anytime & overturn. Most other scoring errors by the officials need to be changed within one dead ball following the infraction. The ball going thru the basket is a "dead ball" so basically gotta catch a 2-point or FT error on the next possession.

T-Will is playing solid tonight. Bufkin on offense and Jett on defense and the boards are the bigger issue.

We've evened out the boards though and are playing solid defense in spurts. If we can just get some consistency, we can string together a run.

The problem with Twill is that kind of effort and grit is too rare. His entire role on this team should be relentless hustle and crashing boards. He’s simply not useful in any other role. He’s not a scorer and should never consider himself one. The last few minutes he is doing what brings value to his team.

Agreed on fundamentals. Players not "seeing ball, seeing man" on defense - you see an open player, get out & guard. And when they closeout, there's no "stutter-step" so you avoid the blow-by drive - they're running to a spot. No "finding a body" when a shot goes up, guys just looking at the basket. Ugh!
