Has anyone else noticed our run has come with Jett on the bench? Dude has tremendous offensive skill but is completely lost on defense and is a poor rebounder. It’s probably just a coincidence.

I think's a coincidence. The idea that we're better without one of our best shooters on the floor is crazy to me. He's being replaced by Baker who is not a better rebounder or defender really.

Actually Baker may be a better defender than Jett. And he’s not good defensively. It’s just that Jett is absolutely horrible. He gets lost out there, not knowing who’s his man, looking at the ball rather than guarding, closing out with his hand down, not fighting through screens. Agreed that it’s weird to say Michigan is better with him not on the floor - and perhaps it is a coincidence - but I think his defense is so God awful that it really does outweigh his offense right now. Especially tonight, as his offense hasn’t even been good tonight.

His growth from freshman to sophomore years has been tremendous. His game will continue to ascend. He puts in the work, and over the summer his game will grow to the point where he is consistently good-great.
