Lewerke out for the season w/broken tibia

Per Dantonio. Tough loss for the Spartans. Would've benefitted a lot from the experience.

This defense breaks QB's. I've never seen a defense that is so deadily to the health of opposing QB's. This defense is definitely capable of being gashed from time to time but it really is a war of attrition when you go against this front 7.

A couple of reporters asked him why he pulled O´Connor and put in the other 2 guys.  I found it interesting he said that it was important for the other 2 QBs to experience playing against U of M.  It almost seemed like he was willing to sacrifice the outcome of the game in order for them to experience playing against MIchigan.  Found his response kind of odd.

Sucks for the kid. On the football side, he is very young and raw. Without practicing and the lack of bowl practices, he won't be able to grow. Throw in an early (first?) road game next year in very early October, and he still should be plenty raw when we see him next.

Damn that sucks for them. Never want to see anyone get injured, and he made our defense look pretty bad yesterday.

Hope he's back full strength for spring practice. When he's on his game, he's a good one.

That sucks. I have a hunch he's going to be the next surprisingly good MSU QB. He looked decent at times yesterday as a freshman. Should be good as an upper classman

I guess the "tougher team" took some
lumps. That shitty spread QB that can't pass didn't look very good either last I saw. You don't want any player to get injured. Hope they all recover.

I would never ever wish injury on a competitor, but QB's may want to start reconsidering playing against us...

Holloman (UCF)

Lufau (Colorado)

Hornibrook (maybe... according to Barry Alvarez)

Damion Terry AND Lewerke

5 QB's knocked out of the respective game in 8 games.

EDIT- Hornibrook wasn't knocked out of the game, but Barry Alvarez said he played injrued, which is probably bullshit.

Columbus Dispatch used a photo of Jabrill celebrating after sacking Lewerke. Corpse of Lewrerke can be seen in background, clearly dead. Great photo, should become part of Michigan lore.
