I'm guessing he misremembered how to correctly use irregardlessly
He made a very common mistake--lots of people don't realize that the correct word is "irrespectivelessly."
right about that

Hey! You guys are like me!
Here's another good trick, my wife can't STAND it...
Always and forever pronounce parmesan as par-MEE-zhun. Bonus points if you do it at a restaurant in front of the server.
Haha--I actually do pronounce it that way occasionally as a joke. We're the epitome of dad jokes.

Directly from the Rich Rod school of English.

spoke English?
April 30th, 2018 at 11:49 AM ^
Actually - and not a lot of people know this - but Rich Rod is bilingual.
He can say, "Holy shit, we can't stop anybody!" in two languages.
The Ron English school of enriching rods?

I could care less about his grammar.

but yeah, I don't get it either. It's just poison in the blood of civilization at this point. "Cesspool" is social media at it's best; in the deeper end, people are literally using those services to incite, organize, and execute ethnic cleansing and genocide. What a catastrophe.
Good luck JOK, in whatever you do in football and life. Stay off the Twitters, though. You'll sleep better.

I recently deleted all of my social media accounts and honestly couldnt be happier. Dont really know how to explain it. Facebook, Twitter can be so toxic and unhealthy

Facebook is the only social media I ever had (unless you want to count Myspace back in the day). Turned off my Facebook about a year ago and can't say I have really missed it.
2 days after UM lost to Nova after my buddy who is an ND fan was shit-posting about the game. Haven't missed it much at all except when I have a few down minutes where I used to check up. Pretty much felt like a complete waste of time.
And best of luck to JOK.
I like the commercial where three NBA pros are talking to the new rookie.
One of them asks the rookie: "Do you have a phone?"
The rookie shows him the phone. The pro grabs it, throws it out the window and says, "You'll thank me."
practically every news site sucks, people suck.

Dude's already getting shitty responses on Twitter. No need to crap all over someone's dream because he didn't win enough games for your team.

I heard he will be the towel boy for all 16 games this season. He will manage to hand out 4 towels all year. 6 towels will end up being handed to the opposing team. He will be seen yelling at Golden Tate on the sideline that he has to come back for the towel and needs to fight for it.

Twitter sucks and I'm happy for John. Hopefully he can make something of it.
working for such an awful organization. I hope he makes the most of it.

a former NFL starter, and they have ruddock who is poised to be a super back up, hopefully a starter some day. i wish o'korn the best, but why would the lions sign him as an UFA?
also, does anyone know what type of $ the UFA's get?

For the practice squad it's less, but still more than enough money to live on for a year.
But O'Korn is just a body for training camp, he isn't going to play in the NFL. It gives the Lions some okay press by signing the local college QB and that's about it.
April 29th, 2018 at 10:11 PM ^
but i clicked on the link. those people with the vicious, shameful replies to o'korn and his announcement ought to have consequences. and i have little doubt that if you microscoped their respective lives, they are contemptable, pititful people. as michigan fans that crud reflects on us. gross.

if you are going to non-stop troll, as before. you, like ND, are chicken. it was nice with you gone. just looked at your posting history thinking maybe you've taken the time to come around a little, but nope, just as extraordinarily unpleasant as ever.
i don't know what deep-seated insecurities and unhappiness has wrapped itself around your head but get help. get a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a hobby, see your family, a therapist, whatever. you need it and the first step is acknowledging that.

Training camp. to rookie minimumns to practice squad players.
1000 a week in camp
117K for practice squad
440k rand for rookie min.
April 29th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
hope o'korn has a great camp. maybe he'd get picked up by another team and put on the practice squad?
April 29th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
Very nice. I hope he can get it.

Correct. He got a camp invite to tryout, but has not been signed as a UDFA
That makes better sense. He gets a chance to show what he's got, and the Lions get an extra arm for training camp drills.
This sounds like what they tell young actors: go to all the auditions and casting calls and workshops, etc. that you can. The more people who see you, and who can see what you do, the better your chances. The first step in getting the job is getting them to see your face.
So good luck, JOK. Break a leg.
