I'll explain..

The police officer should have refrained from shooting Jacob Blake in the back.

Jacob Blake should have refrained from fighting with police, resisting arrest and going towards his vehicle which had a weapon in it. He should have put his hands behind his back, sat in the back of the police car and went to jail for the crimes that he committed.

Kyle Rittenhouse should have refrained from going to Kenosha with a rifle.

Joseph Rosenbaum should have refrained from chasing Kyle Rittenhouse and throwing bricks at him.

Anthony Huber should have refrained from chasing Kyle Rittenhouse, hitting him over the head with a skateboard and trying to rip away a rifle that is held onto the body by a sling.

Gaige Grosskreutz should have refrained from chasing Kyle Rittenhouse, pointing a gun at him and trying to take a rifle that is held onto the body by a sling.

All of these actions are incredibly stupid and have consequences.

Agreed. Especially when they…

Agreed. Especially when they're a communist on top of it.

Bones

Bones... definitely bones.

How does a photo never get old? Still makes me smile every time I see it.

Wow, that is brutal

Wow, that is brutal. Not that we needed it but just one more note that puts it into perspective. Amazing we won 8 games.

I really hope Shea can deliver 2 tds a game. We would have had 11 wins last year, if we had that at QB. The only game I don't think we would have won, even with average QB play, was the Penn St game.

MSU:*

MSU:*

Fixed it for you.

On 56 and 57 attempts

He had those 400+ yard games on 56 and 57 attempts. I will give you that he didn't have the best WR corps, that is fair but I'm not sold that Brian Lewerke is a top 3 QB in the Big Ten and certainly not a top 12 QB in all of college football.

Let's ask this, would you rather have Brian Lewerke or Brandon Peters?

I would rephrase my statement to

Brian Lewerke isn't that good. He is an average QB that can manage a game and make some plays with his legs but if there was a game where QB play was going to be the deciding factor, I wouldn't feel great about having him.

6 games last year he had less than 200 yards, two games he had less than 100 yards. Come on. That's horrible. I'm hoping and praying for good weather for the MSU game this year and then we will see what kind of QB Brian Lewerke is.

If you think Brian Lewerke is good, you're being a salty little bitch. Look at those stats against Maryland. I know the Minnesota game the weather wasn't great but come on. He was terrible against OSU. His only impressive games have him throwing 40+ times.

He is not the #12 OVERALL QB in college football. GTFO.

Really?

"Fuck him, basically. He very likely did something, and should no longer have the privilege to be a..." that statement could be said about a lot of people who did some very bad things in the past. If its uncovered that he has repeatedly done similar bad things since this one incident, then yes, your statement is true. But come on man, second chances and all that.

Not that its okay but its very likely people you work with every day have done some horrible things in their past, does that mean they don't get the privilege to do anything with their life?

Why "should" they fire him?

Why "should" they fire him?

I heard he will be the towel boy

I heard he will be the towel boy for all 16 games this season. He will manage to hand out 4 towels all year. 6 towels will end up being handed to the opposing team. He will be seen yelling at Golden Tate on the sideline that he has to come back for the towel and needs to fight for it.

And make more free throws

And make more free throws, FFS

I had mine done in 2016

and I was told no heavy weight lifting for 4 weeks, then slowly get back into it over the next two weeks. He said I could do some cardio stuff after two weeks but no strength training whatsoever.

I would be curious what "full activity" means to your doctor. I can't imagine Solomon will be allowed back into the weight room for full strength condition for at least 4 weeks. I could see light contact and cardio work after 2 weeks but not full activity.

I hope they film again this season

I hope they film again this season to capture us winning the National Championship.

It's a joke, man

It's a joke, man. Don't have to get all serious on us. Clearly, the guy can have whatever avatar he likes and we're also allowed to rib him and tell him to change it. I don't think anyone is being too harsh.

Btw, your post wasn't long enough, not up to your standards. Don't start slacking on us.

It's not who had it first

It's not who had it first, it's who made it memorable. You sir, need to change your avatar.

Texas A&M 2.0 is happening tonight

And we're going to shock the world.

This post needs all the upvotes

This post needs all the upvotes. What a great moment. Captures the kind of night it was.

Okay, guy

Us as fans not continuing to enjoy one of the greatest Michigan sports moment is really going to affect the game against A&M.

I'm sure Beilein has the team focused but Jordan Poole will continue to be asked about The Shot 2.0 all week.

I can't disagree

I can't disagree, based on the way we have played. The ending to our summary is accurate, the way we have played is no where near our potential.

I really think we will see a different team for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games. I don't see us continuing to play this poorly. Break out of the funk against A&M and then look out.

I saw this

I saw this very old woman at the grocery store the other day and she had all the usual old person grocery items, bread, plums, etc. You know how they shop, enough for a couple of days.

There was one thing she made sure she had plenty of and that was animal crackers. She had two big bags of them. I thought, that woman loves her some animal crackers.

P.S. Nobody better come in here throwing out the logic that she might be buying them for her grandchildren. No. Don't take this from me. This old woman loves animal crackers. So, fuck off.

And its one and done time

And its one and done time. When MSU starts losing, they seem to go into a shell and quit. I'm not seeing that team make it past the Sweet 16, if they even make it there.

Come on man

Come on man, there is not a lot cash flying around with the NCAA/B1G, this is the best they could afford. Times are tough.

Also, if the announcers keep saying "Big Blue" today, I might drive to NY and punch them in the face myself

Of course not

It was pure luck but spectacular luck.

In my head

In my head, I read this as "spar tie".

I would be amazed if Izzo

I would be amazed if Izzo makes it out of all of this with his job. Between the sexual assault stuff and now this, it would really be indefensible to keep him around. It will be another black eye for MSU and their brand.

FFS, his name is Ed Warinner

FFs, his name is Ed Warinner. Are you guys doing this on purpose? This is worse than Rudddock. Even Seth did it.

Now we get to watch everyone

butcher Ed Warinner's name. It's the new Rudddock.

He's retired, I doubt he is using Slack.

I'll see myself out...

Thank God, finally an OT

Thank God, finally an OT. And one with decent size and stars. Welcome aboard, Trente! Looking forward to watch you on Saturdays.

This is the hill worth standing on

This is the hill worth standing on for the current state of Michigan football. If Jim hired an Offensive Don Brown and Michigan was contending for the B1G Championship and CFP every year, Jim's legacy would be all the same as if he was the offensive brain child behind the turn around.

I've taught my son

I've taught my son that this is the "Old brand block M". Now when we're out in public and he sees it he points and says "Hey Dad, look! That guy has the old brand Michigan". I'm proud and embarrassed at the same time.

I completely agree

I completely agree. I was happy when Rich Rod was fired and didn't think he would work in the long run. I think the evidence from Arizona further proves that. The guy had good offenses but when someone had him downloaded, they ate his lunch time and time again.

Like I said, this isn't my hill I'm dying on but I know plenty of guys that it is. I need new friends.

The offense was one year away

The offense was one year away. All they ever talk about is the offense and how it would have been BIG12-esque. They really believe that we would have put up 42+ points each game and could have won shootouts all the way to a National Championship.

I always bring up the defense and they always go back to "Look at [insert BIG12 team with a crazy offense here] and how they only needed a mediocre defense to be contending".

What makes me sad as I'm typing this is, now we're saying "We only need a mediocre offense to be contending". It's been a helluva decade.
