I've had a couple friends go into the Naval nuclear program, and they're definitely a little bit more bold & eccentric than your typical engineer. That said, I wonder if Stalions is going more rogue now that he's got the spotlight? Maybe in an effort to isolate himself more from the UM program and penalties to the coaching staff? Either way, I hope to someday get a firsthand account on the truth behind this whole saga.

At this point any ending wouldn't surprise me. He could disappear completely. He could off himself and frame Ryan Day for murder somehow. He could get canned and then do this stuff with no restrictions and post all his videos to YouTube. We could find out Connor Stalions was actually a fake identity and no birth records actually exist for this person. We're into like Keyser Söze territory now.

At this point, what you're gaining isn't even worth the insane amount of risk in walking up and down the sidelines next to every CMU coach and staffer. He must've gotten off on fooling people. Growing out the hair (or wearing a wig) and beard, then shaving before Michigan's game the next day. He had to be enjoying the hustle more than whatever minimal football data he gained by doing it.

The paying people to record games because you think you found loophole is one thing.  The espionge stuff on the sideline of CMU is a whole different level.  And I agree that would see like someone who enjoys the deception; like feeling like he's a spy.  I gotta think that he had an inflated sense of self importance too.  Like I'm sure sign stealing does supply some marginal gains, hence why all big programs have one or two people doing it.  But the fact that UMs sign stealer has a salary of 55K and before that he was doing it unpaid seems to indicate how valuable UM thinks it is.  If good sign de-coding could take a bad team and turn them into playoff teams, those analysts would be making more than the S&C coaches do.

Thanks HH (Nittany Fan, too).

I randomly looked in depth at about a half dozen of his posts.  It appears that on his first day on the MGoBoard he was already being described by one poster as "annoying" (that poster accused him of apparently posting numerous times in an effort to quickly build up his point total).

Another of his posts was on a thread started by WD but there didn't appear to be any direct interaction between him and WD.

WTF, man?

I was pretty sure this CMU thing would be yet another bullshit non-story that some idiot latched on to and that this guy turned out to be another person entirely who just looks like Stalions. But I guess this too has legs.
