it will suck if JH isn't on the field next week for the 1000th win in program history

Title says it all.  Courts can't monetize what the Big Ten is robbing from this man.

To JH's point made during the burgers suspension: the best testament to leadership is when those you lead step into successful leadership when you can't be there.

I tend to agree, but explain how a judge faced with a clear case of irreparable harm (no money damages could compensate for Harbaugh being suspended) and the league attempting to change the status quo (I.e., Harbaugh coaches the team) does not issue a TRO and tell the parties to come back on Tuesday or Wednesday for a full hearing on the PI?  It makes no sense.

While a Judge could feasibly grant a TRO in basically 12 hours, it would be highly unusual. Judges are not easily persuaded and they are all pretty deliberate.  I know it is hard to imagine a UM alum simply not caring whether the team loses a football game, but a Judge does not care.  She did not issue it because the issues are complex and she is not yet persuaded that UM is entitled to relief.

When they do have the hearing, I do certainly think she is going to ask the BIG, so, do you have any *evidence* of anything not drafted by Pete Thamel?

I bet you he will be equally disappointed if he is not there for OSU game not because of rivalry, which I am so over it, but for not able to cherish his Seniors last day of playing FB at Michigan stadium

Unfortunately, regardless of whether Harbaugh is on the sideline for win #1000, it seems like the overwhelming attention to “signgate” will drown out everything else.

Should be a huge celebration with lots of coverage. It will probably be mentioned a fraction of the number of times the drama is mentioned.

Yes, that would definitely suck. And I might be feeling a bit too chesty after that STATEMENT win in Happy Valley, but I think it's highly unlikely that is going to happen. For whatever reason, they couldn't get the ruling they thought they would today. But I still think Michigan has a very strong case in this matter. I feel very confident the injunction will go through on Monday.

Are they ever going to announce the game time? I have to go to Michigan for Thanksgiving but I also have to go to the Lions game the next day so I really need to know if is going to be feasible to attend both so I can buy my flight over from California. It's not like airfare is going to get any cheaper just before Thanksgiving.

Jim wrote a song to Tony P.  Lyrics below:

There's a spider (spider, spider)

He's deep in my soul (soul)

He's lived here for years (years)

And he just won't let go

He's laying around

He's got a mean bite

Now he's ready to fight...

And stand up for what he knows...

I don't need your trophies or your gold

I just want to tell you all

Go fuck yourselves...

Go fuck yourselves...

Go fuck yourselves...

The 1883 game in Hoboken, NJ against the Stevens Institute of Technology, playing something as much like rugby as anything else... what a rabbit hole of "who knows, who cares". I want win 1K against Ohio State, and that should include a win at Maryland next week.
