Interesting 2020 OT Offer: Tobias Braun

Submitted by Gentleman Squirrels on August 26th, 2019 at 7:15 PM

Michigan has offered OT Tobias Braun in the 2020 class. He's 6'7, 306lbs and he originally hails from Germany. Seems like he will be playing for Salisbury School in Connecticut for his senior year.

Some decent offers with his offer list containing Arizona St., FSU, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa St., Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Okla St.

He's a 3-star; 247 rates him an 85 and ranks him 1,116 in the country and he is the number 9 recruit from Germany. The 247 composite ranks 0.8638 and #731 overall. His grammar is also at a 3-star level although certainly better than most of us could do in German.

Actually not a bad judge of talent as a recruiter but reportedly, someone who couldn't "close the deal with the 5*'s".

IMO, it was mostly the fans were pissed Jackson Carmen committed to Clemson andnthey used Warrinner as the scapegoat since they wanted a more modern offense. (even though it was because he smelled the "Urban Decay" coming from the program)

Is he allowed to capitalize the 'T' in The University of Michigan? I thought some other school put a trademark on that.

He clearly has no respect for IP law. Red flags on this guy. Do not want.
