If you doubt inflation is horrible - check out how much less $95 million buys than it did just last year!

31-0 and counting!

That's just it - there's this nonsense, inaccurate narrative that all these bad MSU teams have beaten all these good UM teams over the past 15 years.

The only bad MSU teams that beat us were 1) 2009 and 2) 2020. And you know what we were in both of those years? We were bad ourselves. Finished one year 5-7, and the other 2-4.

Looking at good UM teams vs. bad MSU teams in this time span, we have 2016 and 2019. In 2016, we beat them fairly easily, the game just looked closer in the end. In 2019, well, see my avatar.

I am hesitant to give them a hard time until we beat them.  It reminds of the horror when their fans mocked us endlessly and then watched Michigan beat them that same season.

Wow.  I feel that the letter grades for Michigan and Maryland were a half a grade off (we’re worse, they’re better).  Sparty looks to be two full letter grades worse than predicted, and Minnesota is …. Maybe pretty good?

Dear State,

Ok, I'm not the biggest sparty fan. It may be true that I have professed some hatred in fact. That notwithstanding I will take the Head Corch job for only $50M and then let you fire me. It's the least I can do to try and help.

While I share the rejoicing in Sparty woes, I always take their losses as just another indication that they ignore the majority of their schedule to spend 365 days a year preparing for big brother.  Such an annoying program.

You know the drill from here, folks. They’re not even going to bother game planning for anyone else besides Michigan at this point.

I’m sure they’ll say they were just defeated with dignity.

It’s not even October and their season is basically over. The one negative is they won’t care if OSU or anyone else not named Michigan blows them out. Their fans only care about one other game. Good luck hoping a freak play or a bs call from the officials will rescue them this year. I fully expect Harbaugh to have no mercy towards them.

So how does 97.1 spin this? Before Washington- this is a program game and maybe the most important in Tucks career. Before Minnesota- this is a must win, no way state loses this game. They probably talk about the Michigan game and how close the score was and just avoid all state conversation
