Mr. Brightside has firmly taken ahold of at least the student section and the other young fans and I am really starting to enjoy it and have learnt the words!
That being said, they have severely limited to playing of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' - very sad about that as the whole stadium was into it.

My favorite part about this (on other videos of the same scene) is that Wisconsin is over on their sideline just standing and lifelessly huddling. Must have know Michigan was about to bend them over.

Noticed that as well live. Is it common for the visiting team to get into it like that? Don't remember noticing it before from our guys but it's been a while. Awesome way to hijack the energy in the stadium.

I don't think it is normal fo the opponent to partake like that. Pretty sure most teams are caught up in huddles, coaching, chat sessions, whatever you do during quarter changes and timeouts. Wisconsin sees it every home game, so its no big deal for them.
Was fun as hell, though!

OSU has done it before and I believe Arizona State did it when they visited there a while back. It helps if the game is close or you are winning.

Was at the game and going to post about this. UM was having fun; Wiscy was lifeless. It was great to see. The jump around is an awesome new tradition (1998) - and UM used it to get energized! Was so fun to see this team enjoying themselves.
