I would love to see wmu win but I don't think it's gonna happen. They played a close game against USC but it was a lot of lucky plays and mistakes by USC that kept them in the game. Regardless that ND game should be interesting

Picking only a handful: Pitt-PSU - Pitt keeps it close for a half and we all talk about how wildly overrated PSU is, but Barkley does Barkley things and they pull away by the start of the fourth quarter. WMU-MSU - MSU hangs on, but barely Nebraska-Oregon - Nebraska doesn't just lose. It's gets its fucking ass kicked. Auburn-Clemson - Clemson wins in the best game of the weekend. A real nail-biter. OU-OSU - OSU wins a game that's never really a blowout, but never really close enough to be a real game. OU is always down somewhere between 10-14 points. Georgia-ND - Gerogia by a field goal because fuck ND that's why. Stanford-USC - Stanford doesn't kill USC, but shows us why WMU stayed so close. Stanford by two touchdowns.

I like a lot of the road teams this weekend. Probably not a good sign for beating Vegas...

  1. @PSU -21
  2. TCU -3
  3. WMU +7.5
  4. EMU -5.5
  5. NEB +13.5
  6. AUB +5.5
  7. UGA +4
  8. STAN +6.5
  9. Utah -1.5
  10. Boise +10.5

I'll lay off AZ teams, but I hope they both lose. I think WMU and Stanford win straight up and Auburn comes mighty close.

Between tomorrow and Sunday, we're lookin at about 20 hours of football that I'm going to watch. Absolute pleasure.

Also doing the Hockeytown 5k on Sunday morning at 7am. It's only 3.1 miles, but I'm fucked.

So tough this early on when we're still sorting out who these teams really are but here goes...

1. Penn State

2. TCU

3. W. Michigan

4. Rutgers (gotta get that one win for the season)

5. Oregon (I feel like this one could go either way)

6. Clemson (because Auburn still sucks)

7. OSU (unless Oklahoma's defense can stop the run and their offense follows IU's game plan plus can establish some sort of run game)

8. Georgian (Because Notre Dame still sucks and should not be ranked)

9. Stanford (I'm not completely sold on USC's return)

10. Utah

11. Washington State

12. Arizona

13. San Diego State

Utah over BYU. BYU just seems like they can't get any traction on the field. I'm assuming Utah is still decent

1 - Penn St.  Not even close, they are pissed that Pitt beat them last year and they have Barkley

2. TCU

3. WMU - They are actually the better team and D'Anthony's bubble pops early this year

4. EMU - How is the Big Ten Network going to be able to spin this after glowing about the bottom feeders last week.  No spit shine here, 2 teams losing to MAC teams....

5. Oregon - Nebraska is going to have to trade in their black shirts for light gray until further notice

6. Clemson - I always get a feeling that Auburn is overated

7. Oklahoma - Revenge factor and Mayfield starting out like 19/20 passing.....

8. Georgia - They can't loss to an overrated ND team.

9. Stanford - I LOVE JH, but at some point David Shaw needs some credit here for maintaining Stanford's success even if he is following JH's blueprint.

10. Utah - Rival game, Utah will not be phased by going to Provo

11. Wazzo

12. Houston - How did Rich Rod win at WVU, oh yeah he beat up on a very weak conference to slide into relavence only to find out that life with the Big Boy conference teams is not all the same....

13. SDSU - How is this game relavent?
