You serious, Clark?
October 5th, 2019 at 2:42 PM ^
not really.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:38 PM ^
I think you know the answer to that one
October 5th, 2019 at 2:45 PM ^
I thought RPO stood for run pass option? May as well just call it R and give it to the first guy through.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:39 PM ^
Is Iwpow?
October 5th, 2019 at 2:42 PM ^
That diary post was a itchy trigger finger.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:40 PM ^
Huh? Wut?
Dude, we are awful. There is literally nothing today that says that we even have hope against ND. PSU, OSU. And MSU is close.
October 5th, 2019 at 8:27 PM ^
We just beat a very good team. You people are insufferable with the constant whining. Iowa is going to win 8-9 games.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:40 PM ^
Iowa probably has a top 5 all-time defense. We're fine. No problem.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:41 PM ^
Weird that Wisconsin is Top 5 as well.
Tough schedule...
October 5th, 2019 at 3:04 PM ^
Army was no slouch either. Easily a top 10 defense. Who has it tougher than us?
NOBODY!
October 5th, 2019 at 2:42 PM ^
It's Shea Patterson.
He's that bad.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:42 PM ^
They play zone. Shea has no where to throw after int. I seriously doubt Harbaugh ‘s intelligence not being able to change the QBs after these struggles.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:43 PM ^
Yes. It’s painful to watch. Not being able to throw the hall down field is a real liability.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:51 PM ^
Or try to......
October 5th, 2019 at 2:51 PM ^
Our WR's, the strength of the offense, are not really open that much. Look downfield and they are usually well covered. That doesn't excuse Patterson's faults, but that is another thing that has me so depressed about this team
October 5th, 2019 at 2:43 PM ^
Honest answer. We have receivers. Our starting qb has been playing mediocre ball and does not see the field that well.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:39 PM ^
Those receivers largely aren’t getting open. That’s not on the QB. You can argue whether that’s on the routes or the receivers not working to get open. Having good receivers doesn’t do you much good if they’re covered.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:52 PM ^
May get a negging for this but I will take it
peters>patterson
October 5th, 2019 at 2:58 PM ^
I concur. He was put in a bad situation by the coaches. Was drilled by the Wisconsin dirty team. Coaches should have prepared him better.
October 5th, 2019 at 2:59 PM ^
Based on what? What you're saying is that you know better than the Michigan coaches... come on, man!
October 5th, 2019 at 2:57 PM ^
Shea cannot mentally grasp the concept of progression reads. seems to panic far too much.
run game is mind-bogglingly pedestrian.
receivers don't get much separation considering how good they're supposed to be.
this is horrendous.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:01 PM ^
The running problem is partially coaching. The past drive, Wilson has two good runs, the get send off. Offense get stuck. RB need rythm to carry ball. When they have it. Don’t replace him. It is not like he ran 30 carries before.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
Agreed, tarik dropped what should of been a td.
If you get your hands on it, it should be a td.
He also killed that late drive by dropping the 3rd down.
Shea also overshot bell for that td in the endzone
October 5th, 2019 at 2:57 PM ^
This is really a multi faceted answer. One is Patterson is poor when it comes to zone defenses which we already know. Iowa does have a very sound defense, may be one of the better defenses on our schedule, not the most talented, because they play sound and don't make mistakes. The other large issue seems to really be the growing pains with Gattis learning to develop and call plays for his offense. The first one doesn't seem like it will change, second one we have little Control over, third should keep getting better as he learns.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:00 PM ^
Iowa isn't good. Maybe worst team in the big10
October 5th, 2019 at 3:05 PM ^
Hopefully they can sludgefart their way to a fucking win since there’s not many more on the schedule. Illinois probably and hopefully Maryland.
Speed in space is sludgefart into box.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:06 PM ^
They just don’t know what they’re doing. They look constantly confused.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:08 PM ^
If this was MIchigan, the holding call would totally end the drive. But I have serious doubts that it will hurt Iowa the same way
October 5th, 2019 at 3:11 PM ^
Conversely. Is UM D that good or Iowa O that bad?
October 5th, 2019 at 3:34 PM ^
Their defense is average.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:35 PM ^
The problem is Shea Patterson. Its time to make a switch before he causes another loss.
October 6th, 2019 at 1:09 PM ^
Chase with his 4th sac on the season and youll have to watch them over the season. But the stats don't lie, they were 5th in the ncaa before the game
