Harbaugh on Mike&Mike @ 9est
Not sure if he will talk about any of the assistants but it should be a good listen.

to get Harbaugh on any of these radio gigs. Guests are almost always late to these things, and I mean it's not like he has nothing to do, They guy is hiring coaches and the clocks running on his recruiting class. Give him a break.

The thing I hate most about M&M is the corporate-speak. You will never hear anything controversial from either of them because the World Wide Leader wants safe, vanilla, non-offensive content. Twenty four hours of it, every day.

Did I miss it? I hurried out of a meeting, maybe Jim was waiting so we could all listen?
Thanks JH!

He is on
January 6th, 2015 at 9:28 AM ^
I feel like Jim really doesn't like conducting interviews, which is fine, of course.
January 6th, 2015 at 9:28 AM ^
Jim's segment just started.
January 6th, 2015 at 9:29 AM ^
Or like, 9:25am.. lol

He sounds like he doubled up on his beta blockers this morning.

Talking the arcane rules of compliance and recruiting rules, Jim says he's looking forward to taking the recruiting test (compliance test) and quotes Bo:"If you have to cheat to win, you haven't won. You've actually lost."

I love how he won't answer the questions about when he knew he was leaving the 49ers and pros and cons of coaching college and pro.

This is amazing and why I cannot stand Mike and Mike. Jim is a college coach now, but most of their questions have been NFL-related. I fucking hate these morons.
January 6th, 2015 at 9:37 AM ^
you're just a little oversensitive to those two. Honestly, they're trying to get him to answer the question that everyone wants to know (outside of the Michigan fan base) about why he left the NFL. I don't blame them.
January 6th, 2015 at 9:31 AM ^
But man is this interview brutal... sounds like he's trying to contain himself so much it's hurting him.
You can tell he just wants to get on with his job and start working with the "kids".

And he didn't answer it. They asked what Kaepernick could do to get to the next level, or back to his old level, and I'm sure JH saw that if he answered the question he'd be criticizing his former quarterback, which he certainly wasn't going to do. So he just talked about what a great player Kaepernick was.
The same thing with the question about the pros and cons of coaching college vs. the NFL. He never came close to talking about cons. He didn't really say much about pros either, for that matter because he didn't want to compare college to the NFL and risk criticizing the NFL.
January 6th, 2015 at 11:09 AM ^
on questions he does not want to answer.
I thought Golic was pretty good, but when he went on about how Business Statistics was so much harder than Calc. Please! Also dumb question about if Jim wants good punctuation in his tweets.
Greenberg kept on his narrative that he just does not know JH & they both asked some of the same questions asked at the press conference with the same answers. I'd give them a C+.

Because M & M are familiar with what's going on in the NFL but aren't familiar with what has gone on in Ann Aarbor for the past week. The latter would take research.
January 6th, 2015 at 11:51 AM ^
the San Fran management had this tremendous coach that they didn't want and forced him out the door.
did you get that sense at all? I missed the interview. . . .

Hopefully he'll be able to introduce all of his coordinators and assistants tomorrow night.
