They head butted one of our guys 10 yards out of bounds. If you don’t want your opponent to plant a flag on your field, A) don’t be a dick and B) win the game.

I believe the Shoe, aka Ohio Stadium is 100 years old - it opened in 1922.

During that inaugural season, Michigan defeated OSU in the Shoe.  This is the 100th anniversary - and Michigan defeated OSU in the Shoe, once again, as we all know.

It seems that defeating them in the Shoe is “extra special” - Go Blue!

I’d rather we be all business and act like we’ve been there before. I am not a fan of showy displays and taunting ie a certain jerk from East Lansing doing the “where did all the Wolverines fans go?” line. I prefer we win with class, grace, and character.

But these are college kids who have never won or seen Michigan win in Columbus and rivalry stuff happens all the time. Also the team we did this to promised to hang 100, had a defensive player film stomping on a JJ McCarthy jersey and posting it to the internet as some sort of taunt, has a head coach that held practices when the conference specifically said they couldn’t practice due to a pandemic along with essentially admitting to cutting corners on the rules recently when talking about NIL.

I’m generally not a fan but if any program deserves to have their nose rubbed in a loss it’s OSU.

I forgot about the practice violations (that NCAA and B1G refused to punish) and the picture or video of traitor Al Washington coaching a practice that shouldn't have been allowed.

Al replaced Mike Elston at ND, who did a fine job in the 2nd half and most of the season for Team Blue!

Ever since Baker Mayfield planted the OU flag after torching Ohio State a few years back, I believe this will be the thing to do for any visiting team winning in Columbus.

It’s a Michigan flag. The players can run around with it and place it where they want. Taking osu stuff and breaking it would be unnecessary and unsportsmanlike.

Loved that they did this. OSU has done things to our players and fans that are much worse. Team celebrating with the flag at midfield is pretty mild in this day and age of things.

I'm fine with this. After the BS we put up with (hang a 100, UM backed out because of COVID, etc.) - this is visual payback to them when they were supposed at their best and had paid millions to get a DC who would never allow us to run over them for 250+ yards again.

Would never have wanted us to do this to Alvarez, Ferentz/Fry, Bruce/Tressel, etc. but Ohio fans and players got cocky and self-entitled after the 15-1 run from 2004 to 2019 they were due for some humble pie.

Getting our biggest win in C-Bus since 1976 (22-0) surely hit home with the fanbase on both sides.

3rd base guy may not be another Larry Coker (yes that Miami) but can't see him staying around for years to come if he goes on a Cooperesque run.

The story acts like they dug a big hole in the middle of the field and cemented a Michigan flag in it. Too funny, a bunch of kids running around a turf field with a big Michigan flag and pretending to plant it in the ground becomes a national story line. Must be a slow news day.
