We can still dream, right?

Sorry, I don't know how to embed tweets, but this is what it looked like.

Yeah, that's a no-brainer.

I have no idea why the G-league is offering that much though. I'm certainly not going to start watching the G-league just because Brown, Todd, and Greene are in it. I couldn't care less about them if they're not on my team.

Looks like he just approved of being called the best athlete. Doesn't seem to indicate anything like an intention of going to Michigan.

If the NBA actually wants to grow the G League and put more of those games on TV they will have to do more of this. The top high school players can get paid and not have to put up a charade of going to class. Why lose the top high school players to Europe? Pay them and they will stay home. In the end I think most college coaches would not mind because they could spend more valuable time recruiting players who actually are interested in playing college ball.

Negotiating tactic or just RT'ing an article that makes him look good because who wouldn't RT glowing articles about yourself as a high schooler? Ain't happening

Greg Brown was 90% going to Texas, but now he's reportedly talking with the NBA G League to possibly do something similar to Jalen Green and Isaiah Todd.

My bet is it's one of those two and it's a less than 1% chance he goes anywhere besides the two options listed above.

G-League offered him $400K.  No chance he’s coming to Michigan and probably very little chance he ends up at Texas who was his heavy favorite.

At this point I'd rather Michigan just focus on the guys they have.  Especially with these upper-echelon guys, UM isn't likely to get any of them and it's just needlessly stressful.

For anyone who wants to pay athletes, look at what the G-League is doing.  One day after a kid is offered $500K, Brown is offered $400K.

I doubt schools will be willing to pay an all-conference starting QB the same amount of money to a guy who only sees the field in garbage time.  They do that, and the bagmen will be lined up outside the stadium with bonus money.
