Great piece on Trey Burke's likely NBA return to Knicks

Submitted by Miami Maize on

For those like me who look for positive-themed Michigan-related news (the unending negativity in recent football threads has been off the rails and makes me think many of you need meds to handle your issues), this piece in yesterday's NY Post is a good one.

Trey Burke likely reuniting with his buddy THJ with the Knicks after blowing up in the G League.  Knicks looking for a way to bring him in at PG.  Trey got married in November and admits he had maturity issues as a 19-year old rookie out of Michigan.

Here's to great success for Trey, who we all knew could be special in the NBA after his brief career here.

It's time for you to retire from this blog as well as whatever association you may think you have with UofM. Your ignorace is not in line with University standards nor is it in the good of the members of the blog, nor any other citizen in any state within the union. You will better accepted with sparty or osu, and your ridigty of thought is nothing short of concerning. Anyone who challengas a the mental health profession, when they are fully aware of challenges of board members and associates is "sick," literally.

“That Trey Burke was 19 years old. This Trey Burke now, I’m married, I’m in the house, I’m not worried about things that a lot of players worry about.”

Yeahhhh, glad to hear the kid seems to have righted the ship.  Rooting for him, big time.

I was disappointed when he fell from the league.  I will always remember the buzzer beater vs Kansas in the tourney.   It ranks up there with some of my best football memories.

Does Mature Trey still think Michigan didn't prepare him for the NBA or was that Immature Trey talking? Kudos to him for working his way back into the association.

I already take them for my “issues,” but I would gladly take more if there’s a pill that would make Michigan’s offensive line not suck.
