All shenanigans aside, today is a pretty important day in the history of our football program. We have the opportunity to be the first to 1,000 wins. Looking to begin the season 11-0 in back to back seasons for the first time in 121 years. Those attending the game, cheer your loudest! Take over the stadium and let’s tear up these Terps!

Nobody has ever reached 1,000 wins. Not in college football, not in pro football, not in high school football.

I’m pretty sure I have over 1,000 wins in Coleco Electronic Football. But other than that, UofM is the first to one thousand.
During the bleakest of the RichRod days, I didn’t think I would live to see this day. Thanks to Harbaugh, we’re going to get there a good 5 years before I thought it would happen.

not saying you're young, but I grew up in the foto electric era when you actually saw the action on every play and Michigan was on TV a few times a year. Back when you needed a newspaper with your bowl of quisp.

You are such a neophyte. The players didn't move at random. You had to adjust the four little plastic pegs under each player to make them do what you wanted them to do. Also, don't use the electric motor, just gently tap on the metal board repeatedly to make the players move. And placement of the football on your runner is critical. The weight will affect his movements dramatically.

Never had one those but I did rack up some wins in Super Tecmo Bowl. The most enjoyable part is that I'm still racking up wins kicking the crap out of my 12 and 13 year old sons. It's a lot like watching Alabama play Chattanooga.

Im also really disappointed that there has been no new talks of a contract getting signed. The positive impact that would have on the team and in recruiting would be immeasurable. The fact that’s not done is alarming. Has Harbaugh coached his last game at Michigan? 😔

Rest assured that the team is not as soft as some in this fan base. They just went into the #10 team's hostile, intimidating house and won without their coach. They already passed their litmus test. This team is angry and steadfast in proving themselves to an entire country that believes they have to cheat to win. I don't think we need to worry about them being down.

I have a very strong sense that the players are ready, and that the leaders on this team -- McCarthy, Corum, Jenkins, Graham, Sainristil -- will put the team on their backs. Both lines are going to dominate Maryland today.

Yep. Last two days were pretty deflating. Even last night’s hockey win was overshadowed by injuries…best wishes especially to McGroarty who had to be taken to the ER.
Woke up unmotivated, dragged my ass to the gym and pushed through to a great workout. Feel much better .
