This! Is he the best perimeter shooter? No! But he brings some toughness and will hit the glass. Baker is the guy who would replace him, but he doesn’t add anything on the defensive end.

Dug still plays to fast and sometimes very selfish. Jett looks exhausted and is missing to many free throws for a scorer on the scout. Still, we have a substantial lead and will take some pretty bad second half play to lose. BTW, who is the announce crew? Cause I would rather never have them again. The one dude is very annoying.

Good stretch to end the half. Keeping that intensity to start the 2nd half will be important to not give Minnesota any life.

Solid half. Dug doing lots of good things. Kobe and Dug played a great first half. Need that from them to be dangerous rest of season. Not sure why they went so heavy ball screen up top and not work through Hunter on post for like 5 min during that Minny run. I seriously wonder if Twill has some dirt on Juwan!?! Like why does he play so much. I want more yo-yo! Even Chett gives us a bigger body to rebound. Twill is a undersized 4 that doesn’t really do anything that well. Someone who likes Twill, can you tell me why he should play this much? More Barnes, yo-yo, Chett, or even Jace for D intensity is better in my opinion.

He’s averaging 8ppg with 6.5rpg, I’d say that’s about what I’d expect. Nobody outside of Hunter is rebounding at that clip. He adds value to the team on the glass, even if his offensive game isn’t the most polished. Also his post entry passes are a lot better than others on the team.

He plays like 35+ minutes a game. I would love to see the stats of a yo-yo or Chett getting that many minutes.

meanwhile, michigan's previously undefeated and 14th ranked womens team lost at home to toledo, 71-68. looks like toledo was 12-12 from FT and 7-15 on 3's. we were only 3-12 from 3.

First half observations:
- So far I actually like the offense better with Dug running it -- he mostly doesn't dick around with the ball for an hour before initiating it like Llewellyn would. Seems like that would have been some pointed coaching since Dug's been pretty bad with the ball and has trouble controlling his pace. Even so, he wasn't perfect and needs to stop driving until he develops his ability to finish.
- On defense, Dug is really poor, and really small, though he does try which leads to some turnovers. This somehow still seems to be an upgrade over Llewellyn, whose point-of-attack defense on guards this season was a disaster. Jett is improving but from a starting point that is also pretty behind. On the other hand we've seen some good stuff from Kobe, Jace, baseline effort from Hunter, good boxouts from TWill.
- Would have been nice to have like, one of those threes go down against Virginia instead of tonight.
