Great pass from Teske to Watson, and 1 coming up. Michigan up 74-43 at the under 4. Team has done a much better job of avoiding offensive boards this half but gave up 2 this last 4 minute period.

82-50 final score.

Full game take aways very similar to that of the half time ones. Definitely some stuff to work on but the talent is clearly there and looks to be pretty close to putting it all together. A lot of the issues seem youth/rust related. This team will be a lot better in March than it is in November, and could be another Sweet 16 type team.

Long term takeaways are pretty limited but:

-Matthews looks legit. Seems like he could be a real plus on offense. The shot/vision look a lot better than expected.

-Simpson is clearly the #1 guy at point. Maybe Simmons just needs to learn the offense but he wasn't playing a huge role.

-Expect to see a lot of Brooks/Teske/Watson off the bench. Brooks seems like he's going to get a lot of run as the 1/2 and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up over taking Simmons based on minutes/play tonight. Teske is the clear backup big despite the Davis hype, and looks good. Watson looks like instant offense off the bench and will probably be playing a good amount at the 2/3.

-Poole didn't get in at all until 2:11 left with the walk-ons. Expect a redshirt there.

Chat Sports is generally considered to be a massive joke.

Regardless, even if it's true I'd rather ride out Peters the rest of this year, go 8-4 if we have to, and let him develop than rush Speight back. Give us a true QB competition next year between Speight and Peters (and maybe D-Mac if the hype is real).

Now I'm wondering why we haven't offered any of their guys? Their QB is a BEAST and is committed to UCF. 2 of their lineman have multiple offers from the likes of Alabama & Penn st.
