Friday night of a holiday weekend. It's also the time when bowl games start to count, and one of the first is our friends down at TCDS (Those Cheaters Down South) take on the Missouri Tigers at 8:00 on ESPN. Please, Tigers, wear that block-M with ferocity and whip those hairless nuts.
Also, what is on your BBQ, in your cup, and on tap for the weekend? What are the New Year's Eve plans?

Took the Mgowife to the new distillery here. Actually it's not new but the original location closed in GR and they built a new facility in Rockford. Beautiful tasting room with handheld cuisine. We split a pizza and she had their in-house vodka with soda and I had their rye neat.🥃
Place was packed by 4pm and quite the wait when we left. Highly recommend it if that's your jam.👍
Back home sipping on some Old Scout Single Barrel Rye cask strength... yummy

I have no clue what to expect from Ohio St which kind of makes this game intriguing. They could fold like a lawn chair. Hoping Missouri running back Cody Schrader tears it up. Not many guys go from no D1 offers to All American status. Hard work pays off.

After I finish my shift in the next 15 minutes, my plan is a three finger pour of some Rabbit Hole Bourbon. Grilling a couple ribeyes and maybe a nifty trick of using the air fryer for baked potatoes.

Definitely our go-to for potatoes as well - nice crispy skins and soft inside. Different from OSU which is soft all through

It probably has, but it's still a better option than most, although one of the local twin cities breweries, Indeed, has a pistachio cream ale that's out of this world.

We are heading to Boyne on Sunday through Wednesday. The forecast is looking like crap as far as snow goes so I may just drink some and watch football. I’m much better at that than skiing anyways.
Tonight, I just opened a bottle of Bib & Tucker bourbon that was gifted to me by a supplier. Ive never heard of it but it’s really damn good!

I'm just coming back from Up North and it was a very green Christmas.
The good news is that it makes it very easy to get around to dining and shopping.
As for outdoor activities, your best bet might be packing hiking boots and a good rain shell.

Something is wrong with my phone. The TV guys said this is a New Year’s game but the calendar says otherwise. Must be same bug that doesn’t show Dallas in a desert. Or that says MHJ cares so much for his team he’ll play.
