here's a sign for you Rhule
November 24th, 2023 at 3:29 PM ^
Worst 10-win team.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:30 PM ^
Nebraska just does not know how to win a game. It's quite amazing. Have they won a one-possession game since the days of Pelini?
November 24th, 2023 at 3:30 PM ^
Ferentz is crying. Are Barrie and Galloway going to make fun of him too?
November 24th, 2023 at 3:30 PM ^
Nuts. I was hoping to see how many overtimes they would play without a score.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:30 PM ^
Sure, Iowa gonna Iowa, but they are 10-2 and may be top 15 next week. I really think they would beat some of the 2nd tier SEC teams (and LOL Tennessee) that are ranked.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:39 PM ^
They might tie some 0-0.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:39 PM ^
If they were in the SEC they would be a top 10 program with that record.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:32 PM ^
Well, if Michigan can overcome all of the bullshit corruption designed to make them fail tomorrow, at least we'll feel really good about going up against that Iowa team. Jeez
November 24th, 2023 at 3:32 PM ^
My God, that Iowa-Neb game…trash.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:32 PM ^
Iowa-nebraska….what a cripple fight.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:32 PM ^
That Hawkeye kicker will never again have to buy himself a beer in an Iowa .
November 24th, 2023 at 3:36 PM ^
Neither will Nebraska's time keeper.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:38 PM ^
And you know, in Iowa, he will be recognized on the street out of uniform...
November 24th, 2023 at 3:44 PM ^
A grad transfer from CMU
November 24th, 2023 at 3:33 PM ^
Watching that terrible Iowa-Nebraska game and realizing that they had the power to help get our coach suspended. What an absolute joke of a Conference.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:40 PM ^
So you somehow made it about us.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:36 PM ^
I bounced my head off walls and decided to watch the entire Iowa-Nebraska tilt. I still don't know whether Iowa's defense is that good, or Nebraska's offense that bad. But my Gawd that was some terrible football!
And so glorious to watch!
I found myself hoping Nebraska would block another kick and we'd see some defensive OT. Alas, it was not to be... I feel bad for Nebraska not getting to bowl eligibility, but they did it to themselves in the B1G West.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:45 PM ^
Agreed. If Nebraska can't win enough games to be bowl eligible in the B1G West, they just don't deserve to go to a bowl game. Losses to CO, MN, MSU, MD, WI and IA - all of them totally winnable. Should have gone 4-2 in those and they went 0-6 Ouch.
November 24th, 2023 at 9:45 PM ^
The Colorado game might have been winnable but Nebraska lost 36-14, and it was 36-7 until the last minute of the game. Turnovers killed Nebraska.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:39 PM ^
Let's go Arkansas! I'm sick of hearing about LSU and Georgia's 'quality' win over Missouri.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:41 PM ^
Deacon Hill might be the worst quarterback in the history of Division 1 football.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:50 PM ^
Nick Sheridan
And how the hell did that booth review not call targeting on the Iowa DB? Now I officially have no clue what the hell is and is not targeting.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:59 PM ^
Sheridan was better. He was also a walkon. Hill is on scholarship!
Actually, Russell Bellomy was probably worse.
November 24th, 2023 at 4:01 PM ^
Because his tip o' da spear, uhh, I mean helmet, went directly into the ball, which was wrapped securely in arms around the backs belly. The hit was near the waist into arms - nowhere near the head and shoulders area the penalty's intent is aimed at. And also, it's never called on RBs - the RB gets hit in the helmet on almost every tackle, and targeting is NEVER called.
November 24th, 2023 at 5:04 PM ^
He lowered his head and hit with the crown of the helmet. I was with both guys on the broadcast who thought it a no-brained.
And walkon or not, Sheridan was brutal. Though John O’Korn after the Purdue game gives all those guys a run for their money. Didn’t Bellomy end his career with more picks than completions?
Edit: At Michigan, 4-21 with 4 interceptions.
Modestly better at 4-10 with 0 INTs at UTSA.
November 24th, 2023 at 5:16 PM ^
Yeah, Bellomy is probably the worst scholarship QB in the history of major college football.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:44 PM ^
Somebody toss Deacon Hill a Natty Light. That man was 11/28 for 94 yards and a pick. Just slinging it all over the yard.
November 24th, 2023 at 3:48 PM ^
Venables hasnt got all the Big12 out of that defense yet. This is horrendous by both teams
November 24th, 2023 at 3:53 PM ^
I may be the only person on Earth watching Utah State @ New Mexico on CBSSN, but a Lobo player just had a pinball crazy 60-yard TD run when he was dead-to-rights by the sideline. Probably makes ESPN Top 10 tonight.
7-7 mid-1Q as Utah State tries to get Bowl eligible .......
November 24th, 2023 at 3:53 PM ^
Those 11 seconds the clock didn't run were huge. Plus I thought the time was kept by officials on the field rather than by the clock operator (Spartan Bob rule). Why didn't refs fix it?
November 24th, 2023 at 3:59 PM ^
If the Tulane qb's hand wasn't moving forward with the ball, how did the ball happen to go forward?
November 24th, 2023 at 4:28 PM ^
Anybody watching the Dolphins-Jets? Incredible 99-yard pick-six by the Dolphins on a Jets Hail Mary (former Lion Tim Boyle!), immediately after Tua threw his second interception with two seconds left in the first half.
November 24th, 2023 at 4:33 PM ^
Wings beat the Bruins.
The Dolphins scored on a pick six Hail Mary pass from the Jets
November 24th, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
That's so Jets...
November 24th, 2023 at 6:00 PM ^
Was watching the Missouri-Arkansas game, the color commentator is Aaron Taylor (former Notre Dame player) saying that osu will the Big Ten because they are "sick of Harbaugh shooting his mouth off".
The bias is real.
November 24th, 2023 at 6:22 PM ^
didn't know who he was, but he is the reason I switched off the game. unlistenable... Football needs RGIII somewhere.
November 24th, 2023 at 7:15 PM ^
Aaron Taylor is an absolute moron. Listening to him speak should be considered cruel and unusual punishment.
November 24th, 2023 at 6:20 PM ^
arkansas feeling good about extending Pittman at this point. Mizzou continues to wreck our colors...will they ever learn or just give up and go blue and gray which would be cool given their history.
November 24th, 2023 at 8:44 PM ^
Maybe I missed the answer, but can someone help me...
I know we all hate Michigan State, but for just a second let's pretend we don't....
Why is Michigan State playing one of their most marquee matchups of the season at Ford Field, a stadium which holds 10,000 fewer people than their home stadium?
November 24th, 2023 at 9:13 PM ^
Spartan swill
November 24th, 2023 at 9:34 PM ^
Because their drunk fans would die of hypothermia in East Lansing tonight.
November 24th, 2023 at 9:02 PM ^
Go OOWEEUNGALALAY
Make yourself proud of your Beavers!
I mean, you are proud of your Beavers!
I should say, your Beavers are proud of you!
Put another way - it is a Beaver that you are proud of
November 24th, 2023 at 9:04 PM ^
DJU is still super mediocre
November 24th, 2023 at 9:31 PM ^
Sparty has 7 rushing yards in the half. Amazing.
November 24th, 2023 at 9:38 PM ^
"Rushing" is a bad descriptor.
November 24th, 2023 at 10:14 PM ^
I'm sure it's happened, but I've never seen a game end with negative rushing yards before.
November 24th, 2023 at 10:01 PM ^
How did we only beat these guys by 49 points? And Ohio only beat them by 35.
November 24th, 2023 at 10:20 PM ^
Franklin is such a d bag. I have no sympathy for Michigan State, but this guy runs it up with starters in every game.
