Something like this...

Old "Pie" Hands? It's skillets, dude. Skillets and pies aren't even similar, other than both being round??? If round is all that counts, we could call him "Old Planet Hands" or "Old Tennisball Hands" or "Old FauxMo Hands"?!?!

any word on coaching changes????? Enos leaving means we've got a spot to fill.

Has Enos really left yet?
There are reports and thats it, so far there is been no "Exit Enos" post on this site. Until then I assume he is still here.

Has there been an announcement somewhere?
Coming into the season I thought Ol' Skillet Hands would be approaching Jake Butt levels of production. How wrong I was...

The MGoTeam used it every single goddamn time they talked about him. They've already started ruining "Woods."
January 30th, 2018 at 7:29 PM ^
No, I mean the origin of the nickname seemed random. Why was a backup TE "Ol' Skillet Hands?"

"Clever nicknames will be kept to a minimum. I'll use something sporadically but I will not go into full TMQ mode. Cute nicknames just get annoying after a while."

For a supposedly unironical and complimentary coinage, Ol' Skillet Hands was one of the worst nicknames ever. When I was coach, "hands like frying pans" was usually the last thing said before we switched a receiver to DB. Flat cooking implements (however big) are bad at catching; Bunting was good at catching. Bad nickname, QED.
p.s. Running this substandard sobriquet into the ground sure didn't help.

agree "butterfly net hands" would have been much better

should have been good in Harbaugh's offense . . .

and (more importantly) scholarships at a low leverage position. My biggest beef with this coaching staff...sigh.
Bunting would have been perfectly fine at TE this year. Didn't need to take three (!!) in 2016 just to sit him on the bench and then have no F-ing OTs. SMH.

When he came in, I knew that while he might be an eligible receiver, he wasn't getting a pass thrown his way. He was in to block, and block well.
The bad thing is opposing teams knew that too.
