Uhhh well this is shocking. I'd assume he ends up at Charlotte, but very odd given he probably would've gotten a lot of snaps next season and he seemed to have his issues figured out

We use two EDGE guys...win the other job or beat Stewart out.

You're a transfer on his 3rd team, you're not really in a position to bitch about competition. You were at UT-Martin.

To his credit, he turned it around and we were all in full support...but that's not someone who can necessarily dictate roster moves.

That said, if he's just really close to Poggi and wants to go to Charlotte, that makes perfect sense.

Not trying to be semantic, but Michigan was his fourth team.  He went to Houston after Bama, had to sit out the year as a RS because of transfer rules, and was kicked off the team.  Then he went to UT Martin.  I guess "journeymen college football player" is now a term we should use.

Obviously you're not the one telling him this, but limited snaps is a design principle for this defensive scheme. Keeping DLs fresh so that they're able to contribute consistently when they're on the field is the point. Foregoing that to grind out a bunch of garbage snaps when gassed makes no sense for a guy who's trying to put together NFL tape.

He came in to camp really late, and he was effective when he was in there. Doubt his snap count would’ve diminished this upcoming season. Out of Him and Harrell, he had the leg up as a pure pass rusher. Plus, when it comes to Stewart we are not sure if his success will translate on the B1G level. Okie had an upper leg on him too. This is baffling but it could be a case where he just wants to be with his high school coach.
