I'm a Bears fan, and I'm really not convinced that Caleb Williams is even better than Justin Fields -- let alone being in the Elway/Manning/Luck stratosphere that NFL people allegedly have him in. I really wish he'd look amazing so I could get excited about the idea of drafting a generational franchise QB, but I'm just not seeing it. So much holding the ball and going off script. Seems more like Kyler Murray / Baker Mayfield than a cant-miss NFL QB prospect.

The funny thing is that "list" is a complete internet fabrication. There was a guy on ESPN Chicago who basically went full Snopes to find the origin of the information, and it was basically one of those spam NFL "aggregator" accounts who randomly tweeted it with no source. The only thing remotely close to what they claimed is an interview with Caleb's Dad where he said something about Caleb being able to make almost as much as a first rd pick with current NIL offerings in college football. And it wasn't used as a threat or anything, just a statement on NIL.
