I think Punt or CP said it…have to gring (edit: or grind) out your clunkers. Today was definitely one and they pushed through. Thanks, Blake!
September 24th, 2022 at 10:17 PM ^
Not a fan of them joking around about concussion/TBI with the Brutus thing.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:19 PM ^
FAU has a score wiped out on a penalty and then throws a pick two plays later. Purdue hanging on for dear life.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
That bad snap/missed FG combination was really rough for Arkansas. Looked like they were driving for the lead. Now they won't get the ball back.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:34 PM ^
Crushing.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
Great look for the Big Ten to have Purdue and Northwestern in dogfights vs very mediocre G5 opponents.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
The fighting Fitz’s in a struggle with Miami (NTM).
September 24th, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
Auburn beat Missouri 17-14 in OT. PSU victory looking less impressive.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:52 PM ^
I wonder what Nebraska fans are thinking as they watch Martinez throw down Oklahoma's throats.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:53 PM ^
KSU on the road v. #6 okla, winning by 7 and on the OU 15 yd line.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
FAU fumbles on 4th and 1 and Purdue escapes!
September 24th, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
Damn Oklahoma getting bent over by Martinez.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:56 PM ^
Not gonna lie, I'm glad he's gone from our schedule.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
Well, at least Oklahoma is fleeing the juggernaut that is the Big12 for the SEC, where they can coast to easy undefeated seasons every year.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:58 PM ^
Northwestern fumbles and Fitz suffers his second straight home loss to an inferior opponent and third overall.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:10 PM ^
Poor damn Northwestern.
September 24th, 2022 at 10:58 PM ^
USC buys a Biletnikoff winner then puts up 3 points in a half is fantastic.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:01 PM ^
Flashing the stadium lights on and off is annoying at best.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:03 PM ^
Gotta love the vaunted Big 12 defense
September 24th, 2022 at 11:04 PM ^
Excuse me, but how the hell has Adrian Martinez been playing so well tonight? Is he really the Adrian we knew and loved at Nebraska for the last 17 years? He's probably going to beat OU, in Norman. I kinda hope he does...
September 24th, 2022 at 11:08 PM ^
Google "Adrian Martinez Kansas State" and you get a page that says he's a "52 year-old quarterback." https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tVP1zc0TEsuKSyMTy4yYPSSSUwpykzMU8hNLCrJzEutUshOzCtOLFYoLkksSQUAXkcQBA&q=adrian+martinez+kansas+state&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS699US699&oq=adrian+martinez+kan&aqs=chrome.1.0i131i355i433i512j46i131i433i512j0i131i433i512j69i57j0i512l2j0i457i512j0i512j0i22i30l2.7296j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Seems about right, doesn't it?
September 24th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
He had Scott Frost coaching him there. Can't fault him too much.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:16 PM ^
To be fair half of those 17 years his name was Taylor.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:10 PM ^
This KSU v OU game is fixing to be a barn burner these last 3 minutes of regulation
September 24th, 2022 at 11:12 PM ^
Martinez for Heisman!
September 24th, 2022 at 11:13 PM ^
Fucking Adrian Martinez is a magician.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:13 PM ^
Thanks Kansas State for dramatically increasing the likelihood of two B1G teams in the playoff!!!!
September 24th, 2022 at 11:13 PM ^
Wait. Whut??? Adrian Martinez with that run? LMAO!! Glad we didn't get that guy last year! The one we got would have fumbled that, or tripped over his own ear. WTH is going on today?
September 24th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
Nebraska can't beat Oklahoma but Martinez can.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
Watching Martinez makes me glad he's in the the Big 12 right now. Kid could've saved Frost's job single handily.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
Dang, Martinez is fast
September 24th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
Nice 55 yd scramble by Martinez. That might be enough
September 24th, 2022 at 11:15 PM ^
Martinez seals the deal!
I'm happy for him.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:15 PM ^
And he takes a bow!!! LOL!!
Anyone think Nebraska would be happy to have him back right now?
September 24th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
That bow might’ve been because the last OU TD featured a bow by that kid
September 24th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
I don’t think Martinez being back there would’ve made any difference.
I know what you’re trying to say, but Scott Frost made the situation so bad there that I’m not sure you could’ve plugged Bryce Young in at QB over there and had much different results.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:16 PM ^
Different coach, same shitty Oklahoma defense.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
Thing is, the guy coaching OU's shitty defense is the guy that defensed Clemson to National Championships. Maybe he just needs more time to recruit?
September 24th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
Clemson's D-Line has looked like an NFL line for years now. Don't think Venables could take Clemson's 'recruiting advantages' with him to OU.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
Oklahoma is contractually obligated to have a shitty defense. It's in their bylaws.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
More time to recruit steroid dealers?
September 24th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
It feels like Martinez is a 9th yr senior
September 24th, 2022 at 11:37 PM ^
Today I learned: Adrian Martinez is still playing college football.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
Guess it was Scott Frost who was the problem with Adrian Martinez’s development, or lack thereof. Who would’ve thought?
In all seriousness, I’m really happy for Martinez. He took a lot of shit at Nebraska and seemed to take it on the chin like a man. I suppose the game isn’t over yet, but he’s earned this moment in the sun.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
IIRC, he literally took it on the chin and played with a broken jaw.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
McKenzie Milton was a unicorn.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
Oregon State pulled like an absolute 'shortening the game' masterclass on USC in that 1st half. USC's offense was barely on the field and that half lasted like an hour and 15 minutes. Oregon St can run the ball on USC, and the Trojans offense was struggling with execution the few times they had the ball.
The game kicked off at like 9:40 and the 1st half was over before 11. In fact, this halftime with all the commercials has felt longer than the 1st half did.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
I'll be turning that game on shortly, and will time share it with the Utah game. Whichever is better at the moment...
This has been another great day of college football!
September 24th, 2022 at 11:23 PM ^
Been an absolutely beautiful day of college ball.
September 24th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
It’s Saturday night and I’m getting greedy. Going all in for the Beaver.
