Over the past decade, who's the best Cass Tech player we've had? Jourdan Lewis and probably Thomas Gordon. That's not saying much.

We had Carr, RR and Hoke over those years. I mean, are players like Willie Henry and Ryan Glasgow being coached up better than five star Will Campbell? He's a perfect example of a CT recruit that needed time to develop because of poor high school coaching/competition.

Look, I hope he goes BLUE, but, really, either way he can't go wrong.
He'll have the opportunity to compete at the highest level under a fantastic coach. He'll have to work hard and have competition in either program. Nothing will be given.
He'll also have the opportunity to get a great education at either school if he works hard. You can go to Harvard and get a crappy education if you're lazy. You can go to Podunk U and get a great education if you work hard at it.
A few hours from now ... either way ... he'll be fine. I hope he takes advantage of his opportunities.

I'm totally ok with Weber going to OSU...in fact, I would prefer it. Urbs is a rockstar, no doubt, but joining a loaded team just seems like he'll be another Dunn. Good luck bud!

I haven't seen the full quote, but it sounds like Higdon's commitment swayed Weber because it was implied to him that he was the only RB Michigan wanted.

I agree, anytime a recruit is worried about another potential recruit committing, you have to question his competitive desire, the only question i have is Higdon does not look he is as good or better than Weber and that worries me. You want competition at every position but the level of talent must be the same.
