Don't we think that, maybe, at least 3 of these things have happened/will happen though? I think it can definitely be argued, leaving out 4 and 5 of course.
The problem is we don't have all sides of the stories here, which is fine by me.
When we see Texas A&M signing 32 players in 2013, or Tennessee taking 35 in 2014, are people really doing the math like we do here to see how we are going to fit 28-30 (depending on who/what you read) kids in this possible 2016 Michigan class? Are you looking at each individual that is leaving those programs to see how they are making room to determine if it's a "legal" move? My guess is no, and justifiably so since we are Michigan fans and we can't possibly have that much free time (maybe).
I'm guessing these people that are posting anti-Harbaugh recruiting comments/stories probably don't do their research either.
I'm just not a firm believer in pointing fingers when we really don't know.
The majority of this "backlash" is a direct result from many people here believing we were doing it the right way until now. Hopefully, most of us here are really not that naive to think this stuff isn't going on at big-time football programs everywhere, including at Michigan. The truth is that anybody will and should bend the rules, reasonably, to gain a competitive advantage.
Me personally, I never saw anything wrong with any of this recruiting stuff. Is there a better way to do it? I'm sure there is, but that's probably why I'm an accountant and not a football coach.
I can't stop watching Pitch Perfect and Legally Blonde once I start. I can't explain it other than I enjoy them I guess.
I can't believe that my "thumbs up" for movies here goes to those two, Red Dawn, and Iron Eagle. I had to toss something fairly manly in there at the end.
Anybody else notice that he doesn't have an offer from either Alabama or Auburn, at least according to the recruiting sites?
I mean it's not the end all be all, but it would be nice to see one of them there seeing that he is in Alabama and they have been successful at this recruiting thing over the past several years. It could be an academic thing though seeing how Cal and Duke are there.
As a fellow southerner, I could not agree with you more.
Over the past several years I have seen Auburn fans pull for Alabama, Alabama fans pull for Auburn, Tennessee fans rooting for Alabama, etc. all for the sake of the SEC.
I don't think Ohio winning a NC makes Michigan look any better or worse than they have been. I'm sure it would be good for the conference, but I really don't care about that aspect of it. Win or lose for them, Michigan will still be playing an elite team, unfortunately, next year.
Heard on the ride home tonight that Harbaugh-Geddon is scheduled to be on Mike and Mike tomorrow morning as well. Not the greatest sports talk radio/tv in the world, but another outlet is fine by me. Maybe we get insight as to what his inspiration was while playing Screech's cousin?
Dick Costolo apparently knows how this is going to pan out and is warning fellow Michigan fans by using the twitter accounts of others...from the future

This is the best best thing I've seen here since the "Hello: Rashan Gary" post. However, I must now come up with another bar idea.
