Perfect list! I wasnt ecstatic about his ability to assemble and mold a dominant line, but this list tipped the scales for me. After reading this list, I can confidently say that he was a great hire and will continue to be a great offensive line coach for years to come.

Except every coach in the country didn't coach a line that led the BIG 10 in rushing 7 times, dominated Alabama so badly its RB got 230 yds on them, and made Marcus Mariota cry on the sidelines in the National Championship game.

This is great, and may all under his coaching take it to heart.

Been a rough day, so here's my reaction to this list:

1. You don't need a pat on the back or a thank you for a job well done-

But crisp hundred dollar bills will do.

2. Your role is a single piece of a much bigger unit-

I wish my unit was much bigger to get a piece

3. Mistakes are inevitable, it's how you respond to them in the moments that follow that truly matter-

That wasn't my fault, it was Melvin the intern's fault!

4. You learn to love and embrace the work that others don't necessarily enjoy-

Thanks to lunch breaks with Jack Daniel's and Mr. Brownstone

5. You learn to adjust quickly, an immediately apply feedback to the current situation-

Survey the disaster in front of you, look to everyone else and say "Good luck with this" and walk away.

6. Internally, you take a tremendous amount of pride in what you do-

Especially when it's your Mom

I feel better already.  Thanks Warinner!

I like that, I really do.

It makes me even more confident that the right guy might be in charge of that unit.

Yeah, they are platitudes like the "teamwork" poster in every other office, but it's more that we've seen recently from others in charge of that same unit.

Seems like Warriner would have heard and/or known something about Zach Smith if it really was as well known among the staff as people here like to claim.

I think he's safe though. Looks like a case of selective outrage towards Meyer because he's Urban meyer.

Lots of positive stuff about Warinner.   Drevno always had a lot of explanations about why he should be good.  Funk stunk.   Hopefully the tackles develop well this year and the honeymoon doesn't end.

Shorter Warinner:

Shut the fuck up, do your job, correct your mistakes, and stop complaining.

All of which I heartily endorse both for OL and for life in general.
