I wouldn't trade the impact the University of Michigan has had on my life and my allegiance to its athletic teams for anything. I just find it inappropriate and laughable to point-out MSU's current struggles with its football team when it looks as though we aren't even playing the same sport as the Buckeyes every year.

They’re also 26-24 the past four seasons with a 17-19 conference record.

At some point, your recent struggles have to outweigh your past successes. Lloyd Carr won a national title and multiple conference titles, and we pushed him out.

The refusal to make coaching staff changes in the midst of 4 years of .500 football should be a fireable offense for any head coach. Hell, 4 years of .500 football is a fireable offense FOR the head coach at most schools

Yes, but only by a woefully underprepared AD (Martin).  Lloyd was planning to hand the reins over to his assistant Mike DeBord as his (highly unqualified) successor.  Even Martin could see the folly in that “plan.” And so he asked Lloyd for another year.

When Lloyd’s preseason top five team opened the ‘07 season with the L to App State and then got PANTSED the next week at home by Oregon, the ruse was up.  Lloyd was a goner, and he wasn’t calling his shot on the way out anymore.

D'antie doesn't have an actual winning record against us - so many of those wins were flukey and shouldn't really count.  I dont think anyone actually gives credit to d'antie for those wins - it is just dumb luck.  And most of those wins were when they had consecutive top 15 recruiting classes. Not anymore!

The over looked thing here is that he can’t get rid of anyone, what if he shows a coach the Door and they flip and tell the real story about the Blackwell case? I guarantee he won’t get rid of anyone until that case is settled
