Crystal Ball for Michigan for 2022 DL Deone Walker

Allen Trieu has put in a crystal ball for fast-rising 3* DL Deone Walker, a giant lineman listed at 6'6 340. Has picked up some big offers recently, like Florida, Georgia, LSU, Texas, and Penn State. Would be a huge (literally) get for the good guys!

This guy has blown up in the late spring/early summer and expected to skyrocket in the rankings.

Would be a massive additional to the class and Miles + Walker would be a great DT class to follow up the 3 guys we brought in for 2021.

I love this.  The kid is huge. 6-6 and 340 !!!

We are getting BIG again, across the board.

I'd cringe at seeing Kemp who should have been playing LB at his lowest weight with his frame, artificially bulked up and made to play DT. He played quite admiralably but count me as one who is glad the smallish defensive philosophy is long gone.

And i love the idea of McDonalds plan of having three jumbo sized DT on the line.  When I heard this I was privately saying "Yes!  Yes".  From my lips to Gods ears.

I'll never understand how a seemingly smart dude like Don Brown thought that an undersized (but quick I guess?) d-line would hold up well vs the beefy run games of the B1G.  That might fly at a MAC school or maybe the ACC (he came from Boston College after all).  But holy shit, watching us get our shit pushed in by Wisconsin several years in a row, you'd think he would have learned.

I remember seeing Magnus/Thunder say something like he was pretty certain this guy was going Michigan.

If you’re a 3 star with committable offers from Michigan, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Texas, and Penn State…you’re probably mis-ranked and due for a ratings bump.
