Hot Take:  Iowa's offense will outscore the defense next year.

There is speculation on Iowa blogs that he is bringing 2 receivers with him.  Morris was mentioned.  Any news about this?

I hope Cade wins the QB job and Iowa goes undefeated. I hope he ends up as 2nd team QB in the conference and plays playing Michigan in the B1G title game after Michigan once again routes OSU in Ann Arbor 73-13 but ends up losing to Michigan as Iowa did last year. 

He will have once again shown he is a leader on the field until he runs in his old team. 

Should we consider this to be a returned favor for Jake Rudock?

It's a pretty fair trade for rudoque. We're ok and he needs a new spot to play. Win them all Cade, all except one

The competition for the starting job made JJ a better QB. This is one of many reasons I am grateful Cade was a Wolverine, and always will be.

He is going to do great. We will probably do really well too. But, seriously, congratulations to Cade and Iowa.

How did you celebrate your team’s biggest victory in 25 years?

Had to know that you were never going to keep a guy like Cade around as a back-up. That said, I'm happy with the guy we got. Have to believe you'll see another big quarterback carousel this off season. The days of teams stockpiling quarterbacks are over. Even if guys realize that they might not have NFL careers ahead of them, the chance to score NIL dollars as the starter of a power 5 school will make them jump.

Best of luck to that young man in Iowa City next season. I’ll be rooting for him to light it up next year!

God, what a huge upgrade for Iowa. They become immediately dangerous with that defense.

Do you want to go to Kinnick with Cade leading that squad? No, no you do not.

I just looked at their schedule, calling it right now, Iowa is a 10-win squad next year.

May we meet him in the Big Ten Championship next year.

I truly hope the best for Cade and want to see him do well, but going to the Ferentz Offensive Clown show is the equivalent of a quality used car going to a family who never does a tuneup on it, or washes it, or changes the oil….

Rooting for Cade and hope he is successful at Iowa as long as his success doesn't negatively impact Michigan...but the timing and execution of this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.  Dude was a team captain and is bailing on his team before their regular season is over.  Couldn't wait a week (3 days, really) to get your plans out there on social media?

Obviously his first priority is himself...and this is him looking out for himself.  I get it.  Correspondingly, my first priority is myself.  And the best thing for me is to be a bit butt-hurt and disappointed on how he chose to handle the situation over the past week or so.

All the best for Cade. I hope he does well and stays healthy.
