Brenden Rice might be available soon – pursue or not?

Assuming the reports about Mel Tucker ––> MSU are true, what are the chances we reconnect with one Brenden Rice? He might look to get out of his NLI – Tucker was a big reason he signed with CU, plus he wasn't an early enrollee. At one time he seemed a lock to the good guys, and I know Arizona St. was seriously in the mix too, but he seemed pretty enamored with #SpeedInSpace and Josh Gattis (and vice versa) over the summer. Plus, we don't seem to be in on a lot of 2021 WRs, at least not yet. Whaddaya all think?

CU can let him out of his NLI if he hasn't attended a class. They don't have to.

There is no such thing as 1 unrestricted transfer in football or basketball, only other NCAA sports. All transfers are unrestricted as to destination, but only grad transfers are guaranteed not to have to sit out a year. The Big Ten just made a proposal to extend that to one transfer as an undergrad. It may or may not pass. It might not even come up for a vote.
