He had good QB play at SD as well. His rep was earned, but he's gone a long way towards soiling that rep at this point.

Too many pod casts. Too many trips. Too much bullshit. Win some fucking games and stop making it look so damn hard.

That's a huge leap.  How about how he literally resurrected Alex Smith's career?  How about how he turned a cast off  college QB Rudock into an NFL QB?   How has Kaepernick been without Harbaugh?  Are you certain Luck would have been a great college QB without Harbaugh?

Harbaugh has not replicated this success over time here but saying he's a fraud with his past record is beyond ridiculous.  Maybe he's lost his touch. But his reputation was built legitimately on numerous spectacular successes with QB's.

Meh Army seems to always make it a close game. I mean seriously they could have should have would have beaten Oklahoma last year if not for mistakes.

We have stuff to clean up on offense but if we can get out of our way with the fumbles and poor coaching decisions like some of those 4 down calls we should be fine.

i guess one thing was I was surprised that the wide receivers were so well covered. Hopefully that doesn’t bode anything.

The offense is putrid.  Fumbles, dropped passes, etc.  There is no excuse for Patterson not to pull the ball on the read.....Army was selling out and Michigan was not keeping the defense honest.  If Patterson is hurt and can't run he should not be playing.

Ifs and buts. Fact: the TD was called back. Regardless, the offense was supposed to be the strength of our team this year and they looked totally dysfunctional. I would say that Army deserved to win that game over us because they came into the Big House as a huge underdog, took the initiative, and dictated the flow of the game.

You're number one. You're number one. It's not an "if" that the game would have had a different complexion with a lead at that stage, it's a safe assumption.

"Deserved" is one of those particularly silly cliches that self-hating fans apply after the fact. Who's to say who "deserved" to win, not our hard-working D for example? Army played great and--in truth--it was a helluva game.

Ifs and buts are the fuel of this fan bases apologists.  “If this play didn’t happen.”  “If that call went our way.”  “If the earth would’ve just rotated the other way last week.”  “This team is a few breaks away from contending for a title.”  Play up to your talent level and take care of the ball.  All we as fans ask is to approach the game with the same enthusiasm that us fans do.
