The Illini D is making MSU's offense look functional here.

And naturally, MSU would play their best game of the season leading up to their matchup with us.....

Sure hope they're getting it out of their system today.

Figures. MSU gets thier shit together just before UM and UM will probably be flat off the bye week. It'll probably be a close game for a while.

I’m having a hard time distinguishing Illinois’s ineptitude from MSU’s seeming aptitude.

I do think Michigan would be well advised to tell its linebackers not to punch anybody, though.  Illinois seems to be playing defense with 8 players — if the line doesn’t make a play, it’s on the secondary.

Everyone buried Staee too early just like 2017. Michigan had a bye before the Staee game and came out flat. Sure hope that doesn’t happen this year.

How many kicks has the Iowa K made this year?  Seems like every time I’ve looked at their scores this season it’s always in multiples of 3.

kid has to be up for Lou Groza award?  Either that or a hip replacement.

Gotta love it when the TV announcers know more about the rules than the Gene Stagatore's of the world.... No wonder officials are laughed at these days.

Replying to my own post, but Gene has ONE job and he still doesnt know how to do it.

Gene, you cant go out of bounds (untouched) and then come back inbounds to make a catch.

The fuck....

I watch Joe Burrow and wonder what UM’s offense would look like with that type of QB play. His QB runs are decisive and calculated. His passes are accurate and on time. I’m hoping UM can get similar play someday. Maybe McCaffery can become that next year.

Mork Dantonio, defensive genius...

Single coverage on the best Illini receiver, with 9 seconds left in the half, and no safety help.  That was... inspired.
