Illinois sucks.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
And the Iowa offense sucks.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:16 PM ^
Why are you even watching MSU? There's good football teams currently on national television.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’m watching MSU/Illinois because (a) I can’t stand the ESS-EEE-SEE, and (b) Michigan plays MSU in seven days, and they look unlikely to play Alabama or LSU anytime soon.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
Make sure you take good notes for the coaches on what you see out of MSU.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
MSU with their special "even worse than normal" uniforms
November 9th, 2019 at 5:47 PM ^
They look like a retarded child designed them.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
Those MSU uniforms . . .wow.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:33 PM ^
Those uniforms look like a cross between a Mountain Dew bottle and something out of Star Wars. Really, really bad.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
Good grief Illinois
November 9th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
Illinois turning back into a pumpkin...sigh
November 9th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
And naturally, MSU would play their best game of the season leading up to their matchup with us.....
Sure hope they're getting it out of their system today.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:40 PM ^
This is good. Illinois sucks, but has won a couple games. If MSU looks good, it helps Michigan guard against overconfidence.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:37 PM ^
As always this blog buried MSU too early. Next week will be no cakewalk.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:41 PM ^
The blog buried them too early? Or they buried themselves in October? Did you see their offensive output in October?
November 9th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
Lol no shit. They scored 17 points in October champ. If we can’t beat them we should probably join the MAC.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:38 PM ^
Figures. MSU gets thier shit together just before UM and UM will probably be flat off the bye week. It'll probably be a close game for a while.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:41 PM ^
I’m having a hard time distinguishing Illinois’s ineptitude from MSU’s seeming aptitude.
I do think Michigan would be well advised to tell its linebackers not to punch anybody, though. Illinois seems to be playing defense with 8 players — if the line doesn’t make a play, it’s on the secondary.
November 9th, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
The Michigan - little brother game should not be close. UM by at least 20.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:41 PM ^
Illinois has one LB out with injury and another was ejected for punching a guy. The replacements are not awesome.
lmao at the collective ‘oh shit’ from all 3 LBs. pic.twitter.com/sJROlSMzQO

Man Lovie had me believing for a while
November 9th, 2019 at 4:43 PM ^
That’s an incomplete pass. Therefore, I’m confident that the call will stand.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
“When you slow it down, it looks [like the guy held it longer].”
Yeah, that’s kind of the point of slow-motion.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
And...
Instant replay got one right. Color me shocked.
I hope the replay officials are this competent next week.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
Is nobody watching LSU v Bama?
November 9th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
It has a separate thread.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
This is not your father's Alabama defense.
They're still recruiting at an insane level, but Saban has lost his fastball.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:57 PM ^
Everyone buried Staee too early just like 2017. Michigan had a bye before the Staee game and came out flat. Sure hope that doesn’t happen this year.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:51 PM ^
The BPONE is strong in this one.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:02 PM ^
How many kicks has the Iowa K made this year? Seems like every time I’ve looked at their scores this season it’s always in multiples of 3.
kid has to be up for Lou Groza award? Either that or a hip replacement.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:03 PM ^
Looks like Bachie’s allotment of PEDs got reallocated during the bye
November 9th, 2019 at 5:12 PM ^
We were promised LSUs offense and what we got was competent MSU
sigh...
November 9th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
Gotta love it when the TV announcers know more about the rules than the Gene Stagatore's of the world.... No wonder officials are laughed at these days.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
Replying to my own post, but Gene has ONE job and he still doesnt know how to do it.
Gene, you cant go out of bounds (untouched) and then come back inbounds to make a catch.
The fuck....
November 9th, 2019 at 5:17 PM ^
I watch Joe Burrow and wonder what UM’s offense would look like with that type of QB play. His QB runs are decisive and calculated. His passes are accurate and on time. I’m hoping UM can get similar play someday. Maybe McCaffery can become that next year.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:29 PM ^
I heard he actually trained with his receivers in the summer so they would be on the same page and get their timing dialed in.
Instead of, you know, playing golf. Cuz that works too.
November 9th, 2019 at 6:25 PM ^
I made this post in another thread.....Burrow made a point of saying they worked together for "hours and hours" to make sure the timing and communication was right-on. Commitment to success....instead of, you know, golf.
November 9th, 2019 at 6:55 PM ^
I love golf
November 9th, 2019 at 5:20 PM ^
Wow Tua with a costly pick before half...LSU putting up more points will be huge...Holy shit plus half the distance to the goal, wow...
November 9th, 2019 at 5:44 PM ^
Not sure what Saban was thinking there. Odds of going 50+ yards for even a FG try in less than a minute were remote. Any turnover had the potential to be catastrophic. So they pass downfield and get the INT. Enjoyable to watch.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:22 PM ^
Bama getting SMOKED at home. CFP selection committee is sweating.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
Don't worry. There will be two SEC represented again.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:26 PM ^
Not really, just slide Clemson and Oregon in.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
I think what he is trying to say is: There will still be two SEC teams selected.
November 9th, 2019 at 6:28 PM ^
LSU versus OSU is about the best CFP outcome possible
November 9th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
Mork Dantonio, defensive genius...
Single coverage on the best Illini receiver, with 9 seconds left in the half, and no safety help. That was... inspired.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
Burrows wrapping up the Heisman today
November 9th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
MSU has more yards and first downs in the first half than we had all last game vs a bad Maryland team.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
Imagine how much better Michigan would be with a guy like Joe Brady calling plays.
