After today’s results, I was wondering what the spread next week will be

And whether it would be the largest Michigan-OSU point spread of all time. Perhaps someone has access to better information than I can find, but it seems the biggest spread ever was 21 in the Rich Rod era. Of course in those days, the Sweater vest guy wasn’t known for running up the score, and after all, OSU had only completely owned us for a couple years. I don’t know what the spread will be next week, but I would want at least 24 to even consider Michigan next week. What do you guys think the spread will be, and how many points would you want to take Michigan?

DG was a beast toughness wise. Couldn't get the ball downfield really...ever but what he could've been with a quarterback guru and offensive line. Oh and running backs, wide receivers, tight ends. Speaking of wide receivers. Man I hope they land a stud or two in this class to go with DPJ and Black next year. I'm already thinking about embarrassing the fighting lepreuchans.

I'll put money in my pocket. You on the other hand can put your homer googles on and pretend everything's alright living in la-la land and then after the game when you're confused as hell maybe you'll wake up. Betting on the other team doesn't make anybody less of a fan than the homers. Obviously I hope Michigan wins, but I expect them to lose.

I wonder if they'll take into consideration the fact that Michigan hasn't beaten a team with a winning record since October 1st of last year. If so, I say the spread opens up at around 17

I'd guess 14 with O'Korn, 11 if Peters practices this week. Still a huge spread for a home game.

One good thing about Purdue upsetting Iowa. Next week's Indiana at Purdue game guarantees that Michigan will have beaten one bowl-eligible team this season.

Of course, since the game is at Purdue, there's always the chance of a medical emergency and both teams come down with bubonic plague at student services, causing the game to be canceled.

may open at 15.5. but if peters can't go, don't be surprised to see it over 20. I'd put it at osu 38. it'll get ugly if it's jok

It will likely be, the narrative that “this season has more or less gone according to expectations” will be exploded. I do think we expected that Michigan may be an underdog in this game during the summer, but I doubt anyone was looking at being a double digit underdog - especially to an Ohio State team that has underachieved in its own right.
