After today’s results, I was wondering what the spread next week will be

Submitted by jbrandimore on
And whether it would be the largest Michigan-OSU point spread of all time. Perhaps someone has access to better information than I can find, but it seems the biggest spread ever was 21 in the Rich Rod era. Of course in those days, the Sweater vest guy wasn’t known for running up the score, and after all, OSU had only completely owned us for a couple years. I don’t know what the spread will be next week, but I would want at least 24 to even consider Michigan next week. What do you guys think the spread will be, and how many points would you want to take Michigan?

It's not the spread question. It's that "we suck and are gonna get murdered." And then the trashing of if JOK is playing it's gonna be even worse. If I'm one of those players I sure as shit don't want to be reading garbage like that. That's no better than what Braylong tweeted.

Neg away. I could care less about every single person like that.

Classic "sky is falling" and "we can't have nice things, so let's fire everyone becasue we deserve instant gratification and want a different hand than the one we picked up because we know what to do SO much better than a dude who has gone to the fucking super bowl" FTW!

Our only chance is in the event that @iowa version of OSU shows up (disinterested and complacent). If we get the highly motivated version it could (probably will) get ugly

Hi mediocracy 2 and 3. Thats right you're the same sad little OSU troll from last year. Same m.o. and same user name that twists a "harbaughism" into a negative. Last year it was your take on the meritocracy and now its the spilled milk user name. Your posting history is the same, all about OSU greatness and backhanded swipes at Michigan. It is sad really. You've had your run on here for a month now give it up. Its funny how you disappear for a week after the Iowa loss and now here you are. But why not embrace your fandom? OSU posters like buckeyee john Ross and scarlatina are welcomed and defended here. Why skulk around with this pathetic charade?

And conjure up this dumb shit? So basically our team is a semi-pro team to you because all your dumb ass thinks about, is betting! This thread is equal to the Braylon remarks. I’ll let you figure that out!

post a line until they know more about Peters.

I believe you could bet this at Ohio State -7 before the season even started.  I imagine this would open at 16.5 and move up to around 20.

Don’t we quit be a bunch of pussies and get behind the team and support them. Don’t sell your tickets to suckeye fans and let all that red in the Big House. That is sickening. Instead of giving up and being bitches why don’t all the fans give the team next week a real home field advantage. Make it loud and intimidating instead of bending over for those pricks down there. Get a backbone and cheer for your team that u invest so much of your time in. This is it the biggest rivalry game in sports. The records don’t matter. Make the Big House loud next week!!

All I know is that they just need to deviate from what they've been doing and try something outside the box. What do they have to lose? We're not playing for anything at this point, other than to beat o$u. Go for a fake punt, GO FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN, something, anything. If we're down multiple scores and times running out and you're fucking playing Lloyd ball and punting it we have a problem. This is one of the most uncreative uninnovative and uninspired 1950's style offenses I've seen in a while.

I thought the biggest spread would have been the year we lost by the failed 2 point convertion. Nobody gave Michigan a shot or probably thought we would keep it within 4 touchdowns.

about The Game, is that it seems so many years when we get to the end of the season, our qb is hurting and their guy is like in perfect health. And usually they have a running qb.

Is there a reason why Khalid Hill isn't in for pass blocking on a more regular basis. You would think a senior fullback with a lot of bulk and really good hands, for the most part, would be a better choice than Evans or Higdon, even if they are faster and more elusive. I don't understand why we don't have the fullbacks in as blockers in the backfield. If you fake it to one of them on an inside gap zone or run blitz they can stand up whoever is coming through the middle better than having Higdon allow short corners and safeties to decapitate our qbs.

Maybe they are doing this and I'm just no paying enough attention.

Michigan has nothing to play for. OSU still in playoff mix. Michigan players have quit and will look towards next season. Seniors will be careful not to get in harms way for pro careers. Harbaugh has really blown it and it will all culminate in humiliation in the big game. Harbaugh needs to be humbled to stay off twitter and the recruiting antics and just go work and get ready to try to win next year or he moves to NFL
