Per his Instagram. Final two of USC and Bama. Oh well.

Totally fine if he goes to USC - Lincoln changed the game in recruiting overnight.

We'll do fine - grab a guy or three who had committed to ND.

Remember that five star CB, Iman Marshall, from Long Beach Poly that was kicking the U of M tires a few years ago and ultimately decided to go to USC?  Whatever happened to that guy?

I don’t really want to know-making a point here. Would have been great to have Jackson, but we’ll be fine without him.

"Lincoln Riley has been blowing my phone up and that’s been impressive,” Jackson said

USC

coz who hasn't been blowing up his phone.....

Once again, if a recruit doesn't want to come here after the display we put on last Saturday, then nothing will convince them. And that's perfectly fine. Let the recruits go where they will, and we will develop the ones that come here. Look at the progress on the OL, at QB, at RB, at DT, and at CB. We are developing players again.

I'm loving these new coaches, new roles for existing coaches, and new energy for Jim.

Beat Iowa.

Having gone through with my son (now 21) the issues associated with being at a school thousands of miles from family and friends, I can completely understand his decision. He might still end up at Bama, but that’s only because of the opportunity (or $$$$ - either way). My guess is that he’ll stick closer to home.

Not a position of need right now. He would have been overshadowed by Will anyway.

But, Domani, I really recommend Bama and not the re build with a coach that doesn't know defense.

If he doesn’t want to be here then he doesn’t want to be here. Better to know now and spend time where appropriate. Last thing you’d want is to push a kid here (that doesn’t want to be at heart) and have them enter the portal midway thru his first season.

I don't often get juicy recruiting stories but I got one for this one. Hit me up when Jackson's in the NFL and I'll share. Nothing awful--just a good crootin story that should wait until his college career's over.

Good luck to a special player.

It seems a lot of people have already locked Jackson into USC. I'm more willing to believe he will end up at Alabama than USC and all of that USC talk was the same thing Michigan heard. I'm not knocking Jackson. He needs to go where he feels the most comfortable, not which fans base likes him the most.

I imagine it gave him a healthy respect and appreciation for the big ten and michigan but doubted it was ever really going to lead to something more than that, even in a UM win.

I lived in San Diego for the last 13 years.  Football in SoCal HS is big, but it is just not that big in college.  Sure you have your PAC 12 fans yet it is more rah rah for fun than pure passion like in the SEC and Big Ten.  My daughter had USC in her list of potential schools and we visited and I saw firsthand why recruits want to go there - it’s beautiful and the tradition.

YET, the coliseum is a joke of a place, the area around USC is awful, and the PAC 12 just doesn’t care as much.  She’s at UM now having the time of her life as a freshmen and so happy she ended up there.  As a lifelong UM fan, I was over the moon she chose M and was at the game Saturday in awe of what I was experiencing.

Long story short, we will get the right recruits for Michigan.  UM recruits M, not the coach which is what I prefer.  I will take Harbaugh who loves the school and does it the right way ANYDAY over the guys chasing the money.  I wish Domani well, but give me recruits who love the block M all day over guys who think being a 5* means they have arrived (not a knock on Domani).

Can’t help but thinking Domani’s dad was sitting there Saturday watching Hutch and hoping he could do the same thing with his son in a few years.  Domani may do big things wherever he goes, but it will never be Michigan and he will never do it in the biggest game of the year.

In the past, I would have been irritated by this but nothing can take me off this high!  I look at the missed out Recruits of Signing Day Past such as Zach Harrison or Nicholas Petit-Frere and either there names were hardly mentioned or they were turnstiles during the game.  As Coach said, it is only the Beginning so those who want to be apart of it, come on board.  Otherwise, good luck to you except when you face us.

Just hoping he keeps his hands away from Will Johnson. They have talked about playing together and being a packaged deal. You know USC or BAMA is going to come talking to him as soon as Domani commits to either program.

Face it, Michigan was never really in it since he decommitted. It was all just lip service. That's ok, he's a kid and he wasn't feeling Michigan no problem, good luck to him at USC. We have a good DB class coming in even without him.

He's going to end up at USC. Been saying it for years - all that program needs is the right coach and it will suddenly be very hard to pull any 5 or high 4 stars out of SoCal. It's like Ohio State with better weather, Hollywood glamor and - let's be honest here - a much, much more attractive student body.

makes sense

I mean now that they hired a new coach USC is going to be buying a lot of players.

he was committed to them before

We don’t need the best kids we need the right kids. I was watching Mark Rogers and he made a point about how Tressel would always want Ohio kids because in the 4th quarter those kids are going to give that little bit extra for their school and community they grew up loving.

Mork proved it as well. Talent/subjective talent (plenty of 5*’s burn out) while very important isn’t everything. I would rather have a 3* that will nuke his body play after play and die for his team, then a 5* who pulls up because he only cares about the NFL draft and doesn’t want injury or just quits on his team.

Normally I (like Harbaugh) try to take the high road and not get worked up about teenage decisions, wish them the best, etc. But this one hits different.

Dude decommitted from hometown SC, visited for his third time with his boy and watched his childhood favorite surprise him with a dominating win in what national analysts are calling the best college atmosphere they've ever seen. Then he eliminates UM. Now I say screw that dude and "if you're not with us you're against us". I don't wish him ill, but if UM ever plays directly against him I hope he gets worked by our WRs.
