• Getting Edwards back is a MUST.

• Trente Jones still has a decision to make, if he's gone, Gentry and Persi battle for the RT spot (or Hinton plays RT and Michigan tries to land a big time LT).

• Rod Moore and Makari Paige both have decisions, hopefully they both come back.

• Must-Have Transfers: QB, WR, CB

• Transfers to Consider: WR #2 or #3, TE #2, EDGE #2, EDGE/OLB #2, NB

...alright, now tear it apart. 😃

Karmelo English and Stewart are going to be good, Freddie Moore for breakout player!

OL, RB and TE depth is really good. That bodes well for any offense. I like our chances regardless of who plays QB. With our D how many points will we actually need a game to win?

I was really hoping they would have done more passing this year.  I get that JJ was hurt, but if SportsCenter or YouTube has a 50 yard bomb from JJ every week or two he's in the Heisman talk and Dante Moore or Bryce Underwood choose Michigan.

I can't believe I'm semi-disgruntled a week after winning the National Championship.  This year was beyond great despite the lack of style points.   I just want it to keep going.

I love both of them, but O'Leary is the only WR listed over 6'. That's a huge problem, IMO.

I agree, a big time WR (with some size) and I'd even love to see a Daylen Baldwin type WR added as depth (with some size).

A QB, and those two positions and we're in business...but that's a huge ask.

Rose colored classes? Hahahaha crazy pill for sure. Bredeson is a tight end. Loveland is the best tight end in the Big Ten next year and Michigan has over 6 quality candidates to choose from. Many of whom have been developing under extremely good coaching. Michigans development at the tight end position is top 3 in the country.

Michigan defense is going to be salty next year, like top 3 in the country again.

If the O Line comes along OK and we get a little lucky with a first year starting QB, 2024 can be really good again.  Wouldn't it be hilarious to roll into Columbus again with a team that can take them the 4th time in a row?

A solid o-line and mullings at RB is likely good enough to beat half the teams in the B1G. If Edwards comes back in a “contract year”, you got one of the best athletes in the conference showing out. Colston Loveland is an all American tight end and receiving threat. If we can find someone to throw him the ball and a couple of these wideouts shape up (see:Tyler morris smoking Bama’s secondary) and you got yourself a team. And that is without portal additions.

No way Keon Sabb not only starts but isn't one of our better defenders. We need our oline age to match our QB age....young/young. No more 1 n dones unless absolutely necessary.

I assume Moore leaves, but if he doesn't...how is there "no way" Sabb doesn't start over a 3 year starter and a 2 year starter?

He'd play considerable snaps regardless, but saying there is "no way" he doesn't start over Rod Moore or Makari Paige is ridiculous.

This is like watching Edwards last year against OSU and Purdue and saying, "there is no way he doesn't start next year."

Well, actually, yes there is...and that way is named Blake Corum.

If Moore goes, having to figure out which two of Paige, Johnson and Sabb play at the safeties is a good problem to have. I think they are all going to play more than half of the defensive snaps, so which one of those sits for the first snap is kind of irrelevant. Long term though I think Sabb is going to be the best of those three.

Do people know something I don't know about Jack Tuttle? Pretty sure he's out of eligibility. Maybe I'm just dumb.

Also, Rod Moore returning seems rather optimistic if you ask me. Dude is gonna get drafted decently high if he goes now.

Would getting Edwards back really help that much? Washington game, sure. But those plays were sort of comically executed. I fear he just doesn’t have the instincts for that position.

MaizeBlueA2

Absolutely he would.

It would truly he a Lightning/Thunder deal with Mullings.

They would make a great pairing, IMO. And they can play together. Mullings can block for Edwards, or we can split Edwards out at WR (especially with our current situation at WR).

Getting Edwards back would be massive.

I loved the Edwards/Mullings package, and it seems like we only scratched the surface of it. We almost always ran to the Mullings side, using him as a ferocious lead blocker, and it seemed like a 5-6 yard run every time. I don’t remember if we ran any play action to the other side from that look, but it was a very successful base play that has a lot of possible constraint plays to run off of it.
