MI Muppets
Ol' third base is 74 percent of the way to his promise of 100. Michigan is 12-0 for a third straight season, at Win 1001, and headed to Indy to try for a 45th Big Ten Championship. It has been 1456 days since Ohio State has known what this feels like, and will be another 371 days before they get a chance to again.
And you can’t have one without the other.

1001 = MI

This recruiting class at Ohio is on the verge of never beating Michigan. How wild is that?
November 25th, 2023 at 5:11 PM ^
Man, there are some names on that list. It's unbelievable that they have never beaten Michigan.
And add CJ Stroud to the list.
The best QB and the bast WR in Ohio State history have never beaten Michigan.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
This is a perfect example of the limitations of recruiting rankings.🤣
November 25th, 2023 at 5:41 PM ^
If they ever learn to develop players, we might be in trouble. Sure hope they don't fire their coach.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:48 PM ^
They develop players just the way Day wants. They're simply a finesse program.
November 26th, 2023 at 9:23 PM ^
They have developed quite a few players, and have certainly sent a lot of dudes to the NFL. Their weakness is not their technique.
Their weakness (after years of Youngs and Bosas), is that Harbaugh and Moore have finally built teams that are better in the trenches than OSU. Michigan demonstrated that when they took the ball with 8 minutes to go and remorselessly choked out the game.
Games are won from the lines out. Rolling 7 deep on the OL and 9 deep on the DL was more important than having the single best player on the field.
November 26th, 2023 at 5:59 AM ^
Why?
Were they supposed to be good?
November 25th, 2023 at 4:59 PM ^
BET!!!!!!!!!!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:12 PM ^
You BET your ass.

That Blake Corum TD to give Michigan the lead right after the gruesome Zinter injury will go down as one of the greatest plays in Michigan history.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:12 PM ^
My take is that when a team suffers a devastating injury like that it can either demoralize a team or galvanize them. Scoring that TD right afterwards was so huge. Blake was already a Michigan legend but somehow he’s even more of a legend after today.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:14 PM ^
The play right after Zinter went down is the play of the game IMO. They did not think we would run it. Then we ran it right down their throat without our best OL.
It was right then and there that they knew they were going to lose.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
I think Trente deserves a lot of credit himself.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:24 PM ^
After scoring, Blake held up 6-5, Zac’s number. This epitomizes the character and class of this team. I am such a proud mfer Wolverine!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:03 PM ^
Great win. Go blue
November 25th, 2023 at 5:03 PM ^
Yessss three in a row go blue!!!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:04 PM ^
I've been a Michigan fan since birth (48 years) and this is as satisfying a win over OSU as I've ever seen. No Harbaugh, Zinter and Johnson get hurt, and this team just digs deep and plays with so much heart and determination. Go Blue forever!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:19 PM ^
I'm with you brother!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:06 PM ^

Sorry to do this but...
12-0 2nd straight season.
11-1 in 21 because replay officials are f@cking stupid.

GO BLUE!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:08 PM ^
Woooooooooo
what a day to be alive
November 25th, 2023 at 5:09 PM ^
What an emotional season! So much crap has been thrown at us. Zinter’s injury would’ve sucked the air out from most teams. Then the next play a 22yd TD. Resilient. Spine of steel. A microcosm of our season.
go blue!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:25 PM ^
I hope his injury doesn't cost the team a National Championship
November 25th, 2023 at 5:11 PM ^
Yay muppets! Muppets are even better when you are home from the game enjoying a healthy pour of Elmer T Lee. Go Blue!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
Nice pour. Calumet 15 for me. Enjoy!
November 25th, 2023 at 6:37 PM ^
Nice. I just opened up a bottle of Weller 12. Go Blue!!!
November 25th, 2023 at 6:48 PM ^
Good choice.
Glenmorangie 18 for me.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:11 PM ^
It's great to be a motherfucking wolverine!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:12 PM ^
Threepeat. Trifecta. 3X.
Whatever the phrase, UM is B1G East champs again. And this time in spite of collusion by Day, Thamel, and Petitti.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:18 PM ^
Michigan is 12-0 for a third straight season...
I see what you did there and you're not wrong!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:19 PM ^
Meh. We still haven't beaten anybody.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:44 PM ^
RCMB said we haven’t for “25 Big Ten games in a row”
November 25th, 2023 at 5:19 PM ^
With the playoff expansion next year it's so sweet to have this final winner-take-all game
November 25th, 2023 at 8:13 PM ^
I concur. This game will never have the same stakes again. Next season when OSU loses, Day can just shrug his shoulders and say on to the playoff.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:20 PM ^
All time devastating loss for Day and OSU. They lost to gd interim coach after covertly whining about signs for months and the whole thing is dead now. The devastation felt through Ohio is palpable in the air. Couldnt happen to a more deserving fanbase (largely; BuckeyeChuck seems like a good dude)
Having become a fan in 2006, man this feels good. I never thought we’d beat them after 2018 and 2019. 3 in a row is a dream
November 25th, 2023 at 5:51 PM ^
Not only that they whined about signs, but they hired a private investigator to find whatever dirt they could on us to get Harbaugh in trouble.
This is an all-timer of a win.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:10 PM ^
And won. OSU won. They got Harbaugh suspended and a coach fired, and the media hunting witches. They got everything they wanted.
Of course, they lost The Game. Maybe shoulda focused more on that.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:20 PM ^
Three straight 12-0 starts??
Lets roll with it.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
Yes, on a roll, just like we responded when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
I love those fucking picture!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:21 PM ^
Exhilarating
November 25th, 2023 at 5:24 PM ^
So I did online Magic Eight Ball every day this week, once a day, asking the same question: Will Michigan beat Ohio State on Saturday? Here are my results:
Monday: It is decidedly so.
Tuesday: Better not tell you now.
Wednesday: Definitely.
Thursday: Definitely.
Friday: Yes.
Saturday: It is likely.
