Absolutely spot on. After he loses to Urban next year to make it 0-5 against Ohio State, he'll step down for "personal reasons" or leave for the NFL. I can see where he's actually forced out but they make it look like a mutual agreement.
I'm with you. I simply don't care about college football anymore. Maybe I got spoiled by the great wins against the Buckeyes in the 80's and 90's but whatever the reason, I just don't care anymore. Michigan could win the next five against Ohio State and it still won't take away the pain that Tressel and Meyer have inflicted on me. I'm 55 now and to be honest, I'm losing all hope in Michigan ever winning the B1G again. It's just hard to believe that Michigan never adapted to an ever changing game and now we're stuck in the past.......stuck in mediocrity.
It's simple really, Ohio State cares more about this game than Michigan does. When asked after the game about his dominance over Michigan, Meyer responded with "Just an incredible amount of respect for this rivalry that drives us to prepare for this game 364 days out of the year." Harbaugh doesn't have the same respect for "The Game" as Meyer does. Harbaugh will NEVER beat Ohio State as long as Urban Meyer is there because Meyer wants it more.
Does anyone here think that deep down, Brady knew he was in over his head? I mean, the man seemed totally clueless at times. Maybe he was hoping his assistants would do their jobs better and that it would eventually transform into wins......idk
