Selection Sunday and Final Four on TBS: huh?
The Final Four and Selection Sunday today are on TBS, not CBS as in the past. Are CBS executives just stupid? First of all, there is around 10% of this country that does not have cable at all, with only local channels and no streaming, and there is another 10% or so that are streaming only, and many streaming packages do not carry TBS. These stats guarantee that programs on Cable have lower ratings than programs on network TV. Why would CBS decide to have lower ratings for the Final Four? It makes no sense whatsoever that I can think of.
Texas Tech a 3 seed? Hmmm.
random college t-shirts and unis to them. Nice touch.
sold out with that crap song but that happened long ago.
Purdue looks like they get a pretty easy road to the Elite Eight. Nova is tough though.
Right now Michigan will either be paired with Duke or NC. State will get whoever we dont get.
Penn is a 16?? Is the Ivy that down this year?
Bucknell
There's some...interesting seeding in that region.
Take care of business and we get our rematch with UNC
So we're a 3 seed?
I actually think OSU got boned. Ha
Go BLUE! Beat Montana!
and cut-ins were so poorly timed. Pretty sure my 10-year old could edit better.
UNC will be the toughest I think.
Steve Fisher retired. Would be nice round 2 match-up if SDSU wins.
How long ago did Fisher leave here?
1997.
If we do meet and beat UNC, we will have beaten every team that beat us this year with the exception of LSU.
UNC is easier but that's just my opinion. We'll see
A friend of mine works for the NCAA here in Indy. He told me that Turner sport bought the entire tournament, and then sold a few games to CBS. Turner was the secondary partner to CBS prior to this year, then they came in with a much larger offer than CBS.
