One Frame At A Time: Big Ten Tournament
There are a ridiculous number of GIFs from the Big Ten title run. Instead of attempting to rank all of them or cram everything into one post, I've changed the format up a bit, breaking up the GIFs by game or, in coach- or Poole-related cases, theme. You can find all of them and many, many more at the MGoBlog Gfycat page.
On with the show.

Fin.
What did Mo say during the Nebraska game?
after the layup against state?
What did Teske say after posterizing Haas?
"I do this shit for my fucking state, boy."
I think.
I definitely agree with the "fucking state" part of Duncan's trash talk.
If you're right, I wonder what that means. He is from New Hampshire right? Probably not the first thing I would say, but I'm not on his level.
I told you this was my fucking state
wasn't there a video of Poole and Beilein dancing in the locker room?
I love that Swaggy Poole has his own section! Keep balling and winning!
Was very surprised that Beilein shoulder dance with Poole wasn't included.
Was very surprised that Beilein shoulder dance with Poole wasn't included.
is crazy. It's the look of people who put in lots of physical and emotional effort for a whole season only to find themselves at a loss when they realize one of the top offensive minds in college basketball has a defense to match.
Agreed!!!!! Such a great clip.
Last gif of Beilein raising that net is pretty classic as well.
The gif that ends with Matthews laughing at Ward really shows how after he got blocked, Ward grabbed Teske in a headlock and brought him down to the floor. A dangerous play by an incredible asshole.
Hopefully Ward declares for the draft, goes undrafted, and ends up with some third-division team in Belarus.
staying and losing to Michigan for 2 more years.
= priceless
...because formatting this already took multiple hours, but that's one of assistant coach DeAndre Haynes' sons, so that shouldn't be the last we see of him, either.
Ace, thanks for the Beilein coffee.gif!
The content coffee sip with no worries in the world is CLASSIC. I didn't know it, but that's the gif I was waiting for.
a BETTER title might be "The Agony of Defeat"
Ace may be too young to remember the Wide World of Sports. :)
The Dirk - After seeing 50,000 opponents get that shot off against us over the years, it's nice to see it go our way.
On Teske's dunk, he didn't know he had been fouled. Probably too excited to notice. But Simpson's reaction is a pretty funny consolation prize.
For sure. I was so excited when it happened not even I knew there was a foul.
Poole blowing confetti out of Nance's hair.. I almost died watching that in real time. It's even funnier in GIF form
Poole is hilarious. I was hoping for another gif where he's seen over someone's shoulder but smack dab in the middle of the screen doing a super cheesy smile
How much fascination can one team have with slapping the floor?
Plus, avatar checks out.
What a glorious weekend.
for post of the year. Great captions!
One of my favorite features that I've missed this basketball season during your reduced schedule Ace - thanks for devoting the time and energy to these this week. (Contunued good wishes for your full recovery & effective long-term health management, by the way.)
Now, sadly for me, I can't enjoy them until I get home, as work is now blocking all file sharing sites like gfycat & flicker... but the anticipation is sweet!
Would've liked to see the Nick Ward missed layup in here. That was a glorious moment. It's hilarious how easily Ward can mentally be taken out of a game.
We need an all trash talking OFAAT edition.
And the auto-generated URL titles for each .gif are hilarious as well. I think I enjoyed those as much as the .gifs themselves. *Nerd alert*
What did Duncan say after his and-one against MSU?
Isn't Teske standing right next to him?
Needs to be titled, "Thoughts and prayers to the victims."
spend less time complaining and more time thinking...
but that's none of my business...
So hotlinking images is a that much of an offense for you? I didn't even know that was a thing but to each...
appears to say "I told you this was my fucking city, boy"
All of the Belien not liking calls ones need to be archived. They can be used for so many things in the future.
MSU floor-slapping is such a cliche now that it's basically just them bowing down before our offense out of respect, right?
I mean, this gif just looks like genuflection to me.
do get some great footage of B10 events with the Journey series. .
1) classy Iowa player helping Z off the deck on the and one
2) there are more clips than I expected in which Matthews is making the right pass, play, etc. We all had highest expectations of him in November and he started the year with the points to prove it. It seems to me his own evolution as team player, understanding the system, playing his role better is also a great subplot on our year.
was soooooooo awesome. OK I'm going back to watch the rest now.
I just watched the Duncan Dagger 3 for Iowa 10 times. It's memorizing. The net doesn't even move.
There's a reason even the announcers drool over his shot, its a work of art.
If Beilein is Walter White, is Jordan Poole his Jesse Pinkman?
