They better blow Rutgers the EFF out. I don't want to hear that they're tired. They took tonight off...Therefore, today's "game" is officially considered an off day now

Weird rotation too tonight. No Z for like the last 12 or something. Very little Teske in the first half.
Almost makes me wonder about a flu bug or something. We won't know because Beilein isn't Izzo.

agree more. It's a BS excuse. If it wasn't for about a 5-8 minute run, we would've lost to Maryland.
They've played like crap for most of these last 2 games

is the difference between nothing but net, and the ball clanging off the rim, like you've seen tonight.
A little more effort to get the ball up saps a little more energy, which means a little less effort on defense.
Whether or not they should be tired, the reality is they are tonight.

Not mentally sharp, because playing an intense rivalry game at that level is draining. And then having to play a more well rested team 36 hours later. Plus you don't get to practice your adjustment to the thing that slowed them down against Purdue (switching everything). Miles saw it, copied it, and really frustrated the thing that makes us "unguardable" which is Wagner outside.
The Stauskas team is a good one to remember here. They destroyed everybody in the Big Ten for the first month of the schedule. Then Indiana decided to face guard Stauskas with Yogi Ferrell. Counterintuitive because Nik had 7" on him, but Ferrell was quick enough to deny him the ball. We lost our major weapon, everybody copied it (simple plan) and we struggled for a couple weeks. When we finally got a few days off and time to practice, Beilein installed a series of Stauskas back cuts that destroyed State, everybody had to back off that strategy, and Stauskas resumed his rein of terror. We need time off to adjust to the switch every screen strategy.
And Nebraska is genuinely good at home. Not THIS good. But good. Only loss was a close game against Kansas.

According to the announcers, this was the first time nebraska beat Michigan in men's basketball since 1964. I don't know how many games that reflects, but that's quite a streak

Margin is bad, but committee usually ignores that because the committee is dumb.
Nebraska is not terrible, especially at home.

I think Beilein just handed it off to the tight end for 40 minutes.
