me maybe?
McCall's Navy?
McCall in the Family?
I just met you...
This is crazy.
I haven't heard much chatter of UM pursuing him hard.
Edit: Wrong info. Nothing to see here. Read old article.
I think it'd be known if we were pushing for him by now, i.e. we are probably not. Our board at each position is decently well established at this point through the various insider channels.
We are defintely pushing for him
We are listed as "Warm" in our interest. McCall is the #4 OG in the country, #1 in the state, and #111 in the country
You dont let that talent walk from the state
You do if it's not the right fit. These are human beings, not interchangeable cogs.
Don't give me that liberal bullshit.
/s
offer lists/accepted offers provide a lot better indicator of what coaches think of a guy, and coaches are collectively much better talent evaluators than the scouts ranking guys on these sites.
Good chance he will end up at Michigan (though it was MSU he was initially likely to choose) and yes coaches do care where a recruit is ranked. Fit is most important but anyone who says coaches don't care about recruiting rankings do not know what the hell they are talking about.
Because to be an arrogant Michigan fan here, in-state players Michigan wants to not leave the state to go play for Kentucky. I don't recall hearing his name much and his offer sheet doesn't really reflect his rankings ime. We're probably not pushing for him
that would actually require a link...
Well, somebody is pursuing him if there are lots of blue balls, but I have to question if the nature of that pursuit could land someone in court potetnially, or at least slapped with a restraining order, and rightfully so, I might add. Wait, what are we talking about exactly?
Grandma seems to be responsible for the Big Blue Ballz
"Oak Park (Mich.) High Top247 offensive guard Marquan McCall was in Lexington on Friday for the Kentucky spring game.
McCall made the trip with his grandmother."
I think it's funny he'd rather go to Kentucky than stay in state and go to MSU. They have fallen off a cliff.
You people who don't really follow recruiting that closely need to step away from the ledge before casting a knee jerk reaction out there.
How dare you question my right to overreact on a message board!!!!!!
I'm still seething that Warde made the basketball team fly to DC against their will and that Warde refused to make Red retire

Ace, Wiltfrong, and Ellis
That doesnt look good.
Ill be pretty pissed if we let the #1 talent in Michigan walk away especially considering he's the #4 OG in the country
247 has him tied for 3rd with Mayfield, who is now a 4-star composite by the way
The staff doesn't seem to want him. And haven't for a while now. Maybe they simply don't care if he walks away.
Make sure to voice your concerns to Jim Harbaugh and the coaching staff. I'm sure they'll take them under consideration.
That's funny coming from you, seeing as you've second guessed and criticized Beilein and his coaching staff for forever now.
I trust Harbaugh a lot more.

He could at least go to a respectable Big 10 school that a bottom feeder like UK.

Especially by sports casters... who should know better.
Maybe he's not a Michigan fan. I know, it's weird that there might be some humans out there who don't like what we love. Remember half the world is below average.
I remember reading that there was a possibility he doesn't want to continue football in college.
