I’m not surprised to see him leaving for the pros, but he seems like more of a Vegas guy to me for some reason

He’s a good guy. I met him once on a warm summer evening on a train bound for nowhere.

One enchanted evening?
Pretty sure your train acquaintance is playing poker with Keith Jackson now. Hope you found an ace that you could keep.
Was there magic?
Tom Gamble is a guy that knows when to hold 'em and knows when to fold 'em... when to walk away... and when to run.

As a Browns fan my twitter feed is dominated by people who cover or are fans of both OSU & the Browns so I can speak with confidence when I predict that within an hour I will be treated to numerous posts claiming he's leaving because the hammer is about to fall on Michigan. These wack-a-doodles post severral times a day about the impending doom of our program and how it's only a matter of days before we're nuked back to the stone age by our NCAA overlords. And it never stops-day after day they wishcast our demise and every day the ubiquitous punishment "hammer" gets larger. It's gotten so bad for some (looking at you Matt Finkes & Buckeye Scoop) that even their own followers have started begging them to stop.
We truly have broken them.

I am not sure if this would make you feel better, but the same disease seems to have infected a substantial part of the Spartan fanbase. Otherwise rational Spartan fans have repeatedly told me that they expect the NCAA to imminently rain cleansing justice upon Michigan football.

I see a lot of posts on X where MSU has “teamed” up with OSU and double down together. The irony of OSU’s “we don’t give a damn for the whole state or Michigan” has some awesome layers. Lol.
In their collaborative craziness, do the bucknuts refer to ichigan state?
EDIT: While Staee fans double-check to make sure they spell ""THE" correctly?
Would MSU care? They're just happy for the attention.
"We don't givea damn for Ann Arbor Michigan, we're from Ohio."
Pretty much keeps the proper cadence.

The two scumbags who do the scoop podcast, the ones who got banned from going to OSU practices because they got caught stealing practice footage, should get banned from Youtube for spreading disinformation. They have no inside sources as they claim. They are just making shit up. The sad part is their brain dead fan base that keeps giving them money can't figure out that they are being duped.

I'll never get over the irony of OSU expecting us to get hammered by the NCAA...
Whatever happened with Catapult? Just dropped this whole thing
Some people believe that if you repeat the same lie over and over and over again, it will become as if it is fact in a great many people's minds. And they would be correct. Wack-a-doodles indeed.
You mean, like the 24 hour news cycle? It's also called brainwashing.
Reason #237 not to be on Twitter.
On the other hand, living rent-free inside someone's head does have its benefits.
OSU fans holding out hope that the NCAA will hammer us for SignGate is about as pathetically desperate and even more acne-ridden than high-school me holding out hope that my crush would see me for the sweet and funny guy I am and go to prom with me instead of her steady boyfriend.
Cue Rick Springfield:
I am from Ohio.
I know of these facebook groups you speak of.
Trolling them has become my new favorite past time.
Ohio fans still haven't come to grips with Michigan winning it all.
I replied to one such dreamer..... The President of the NCAA already stated "Michigan won the National Championship, fair and square". His reply, the president of the ncaa means nothing, he's probably a xichigan fanboy. the rules department will drop the hammer and xichigan will be vacating three seasons.
they're mouth breathing simps....
Some Penn State fans are joining the parade. I've been promised rampant vacation (vacating?) of anything from the national title to Harbaugh's entire tenure.
Cast aside the irony of PSU fans making these claims, etc., because it's nothing compared to their looks of surprise, disappointment, etc. when I inform them on that off-chance, I wouldn't feel much differently.
Is the NCAA planning to vacate my memories of stomping OSU three times in a row? Wash my mind clean of the Rose Bowl? Use the Men in Black neuralyzer to erase the National title game?
It's not as if the trophies sit in my house.
I just love that the NCAA has become the knights in shining armor for at least two fanbases that detested that organization to no end before anyone knew the name Stalions.
To be fair, the conference not suspending Frames Janklin for the @ Penn State game is pretty compelling proof that they went soft on us.
Damn, what I wouldn't give for "rampant vacation." 8 weeks,at least.
To be fair, in the same interview he said they (ncaa) received evidence there was an elaborate sign stealing scheme and the evidence was very compelling. It’s not like he said the investigation is over, we won fair and square. There will be a punishment for it, but I think they will just affirm the suspension that was already served. I don’t see some massive loss of scholarships or anything like that, but we haven’t heard the last of sign-gate.
Just a sampling of the latest from 11whiners....it seems like they just make stuff up when there is nothing new reported.
The fact that the NCAA would still be conducting interviews suggests a few possibilities in my opinion:
1) this is so deep and extensive that they are still compiling evidence because every time they dig, they find a new path to dig deeper.
2) they're giving some individuals a chance to be truthful and protect themselves from the most severe punishments, such as coaches that are still in the NCAA but no longer with michigan.
3) they have proof of a complex and complete involvement and they're giving current michigan coaches one more chance to lie so they can come down as severely as possible.
The NCAA does not want to screw this up. The NCAA knows they have a duty to protect the integrity of the game.
It’s mind boggling how we even allowed them to have a ‘holier than thou’ attitude, given who they actually are, but we don’t play too much in their insecure realm. It’s been a perfect storm of them being ass for 20 years, and them refusing to believe they recovered from the worst scUM team I think I’ve ever seen in 2020, to being formidable, without a cheat op. Cannot wait for the facts we already know to be put in full public view. Unless the scum bag news media wants to cover for them from A to Z even after they’ve made their money. Don’t see that being possible with the total lack of control we’ve witnessed from their President to their head coach (Stalions).
All you have to do is type a go blue or 15-0 to get a multi paragraph unhinged manifesto out of these nut jobs. It’s too easy.
At this point one has to ask why not a single other person has been implicated in this scheme. Stallions was busted every which way you can be...and six months later they haven't been able to tie it anyone else. You'd sure think if this was some program wide conspiracy that the PI would've at least been able to link a name to Stallions by now
Would that be Lisp Barton and the adult toys connoisseur? They represent. Solid Buckeye credentials.

Given the new General Manager we have, is his position redundant? Or did they do different things?
They are different roles, but I am not sure what responsibilities each role has at UM.
Was it worth the gamble?
Well, looks like Tom knew when to hold'em, and when to fold'em.
Does this mean he's a ramblin' Gamble-in' man?
I'll be here all week...
Unfortunately.
Just kidding. You the man.
A promise or a threat?
[What BluCheese wrote.]
Weird that he's going to work for Baalke after working with Harbaugh.
I believe he has worked for Baalke multiple times (4?)
