It’s not goodbye. It’s see you later.

See you again, on this side, or the other…

“Did you say your name was Jim or Gem?”
Well, it’s kinda both…
great movie!
January 26th, 2024 at 6:48 AM ^
The Lindas want you to open the door
January 25th, 2024 at 9:48 PM ^
Previous thread has been answered. That thread was bad. This thread is good.
Here’s hoping Harbaugh gets that Lombardi trophy and comes back to Michigan one day.
January 25th, 2024 at 9:51 PM ^
Nope! Love Jim, but GO PATS! He’s the NFL enemy now. Strictly business.
January 25th, 2024 at 9:54 PM ^
Pats are yesterday’s news - but man, Brady gave y'all some great news for a long time.
January 25th, 2024 at 9:55 PM ^
That’s true Indy Pete. Long road to hopeful recovery with Mayo. Time will tell.
January 25th, 2024 at 10:41 PM ^
Geez! Not many Pats fans around here. Too friggin bad! 6 Lombardis!!! Suck it haters. North Kingstown, RI forevah. But go Lions this weekend.
January 25th, 2024 at 11:17 PM ^
I think the question is whether you could bear one year without the pats winning, so we could get our coach back
January 25th, 2024 at 11:25 PM ^
The answer to that is yes. My beloved Wolverines are always first in my heart!
January 26th, 2024 at 9:28 AM ^
Jim Harbaugh is 60 years old... He's not coming back as a coach. This is a tearful and happy but sad goodbye.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:44 AM ^
Loved Brady and rooted for him. Didn’t care about the pats. Brady, 7 rings!
January 26th, 2024 at 9:33 AM ^
Overall neutral on Pats but did root for them bc of Brady. FWIW, Brady appears to be the engine behind that run and NOT Belicheck.
January 25th, 2024 at 9:50 PM ^
Thanks for the championship Jim. Now we want MOORE!
January 26th, 2024 at 6:54 AM ^
I want a new Jim with, uh, Moore miles!
January 25th, 2024 at 9:57 PM ^
To be or not to be...
January 25th, 2024 at 9:59 PM ^
I look forward to the team 144 reunions.
Whenever he decided to hang them up I hope Michigan makes him a coaching emeritus. Harbaugh is deeply connected to this program and always will be.
We really need a Team 144 statue/mural.
January 25th, 2024 at 10:26 PM ^
I’m not sure about that.
January 25th, 2024 at 11:12 PM ^
They already have a bunch of trophies.
Maybe Stalions deserves one. That whole debacle galvanized the team.
I'd be down for a bronze statue of him on the opponent sideline.
January 26th, 2024 at 12:53 AM ^
This wins.
January 26th, 2024 at 2:25 AM ^
Statue with or without the beard?
January 26th, 2024 at 8:00 AM ^
Totally incognito.
January 26th, 2024 at 8:12 AM ^
Has to be wearing dark shades to remain incognito...
January 26th, 2024 at 8:53 AM ^
so wearing CMU gear then?
January 26th, 2024 at 12:37 PM ^
looks a evergreen bush but with binoculars
January 26th, 2024 at 7:45 AM ^
Down for the the bronze statue of team 144 and stallions taking the picture
January 26th, 2024 at 8:19 AM ^
The Stalions statue should have shades and be erected behind the bushes outside the stadium entrance
January 26th, 2024 at 9:17 AM ^
On top of the home side press box. . .with binoculars
January 26th, 2024 at 11:08 AM ^
Maybe a where's Waldo version of opponents games with illustrations of the fans and such?
January 27th, 2024 at 9:05 AM ^
up the official capacitu 107,602
January 26th, 2024 at 8:47 AM ^
Sorry, Michigan isn't going to do anything for Harbaugh.
People in charge don't like him which is why he is gone.
January 26th, 2024 at 4:54 PM ^
Santa is in charge and he likes Harbaugh.
January 26th, 2024 at 12:03 PM ^
Harbaugh and the team 144 reunions.
January 25th, 2024 at 10:05 PM ^
They can thank each other for a great time and finishing their business … respect from both sides and some tears !!!
January 25th, 2024 at 10:12 PM ^
Ok, so what's the latest on the Michigan 15-0 tattoo he promised he would get?
January 25th, 2024 at 10:17 PM ^
I wonder f he’ll pass the mic off to Blake or JJ like a Holly Rowe interview?
January 25th, 2024 at 10:26 PM ^
The answer to the question many have debated:
“Tough,” Harbaugh said when asked how challenging it was to make the decision to leave Michigan. “Tackled it, wrestled it to the ground. Like any good decision, it’s thought out well, thought out the best you can. I love Michigan, and I also love the NFL. Sarah (his wife) was torn, I was torn, the kids torn.”
“It was one of those deep, personal and as meaningful as it gets,” Harbaugh said. “Coaching here has been the love of my life outside of the family. Just our team, everything we did, everything they did, everything the players did, the coaches, the staff. To go from pillar to post and be successful, forever proud to be a part of that.”
January 26th, 2024 at 6:14 AM ^
Maybe part of his decision to go is that he can’t imagine being at Michigan without all of those guys - the ones not coming back. I think that was part of JJ’s decision as well
January 26th, 2024 at 6:59 AM ^
I think that's human nature. I compared it to when Jordan hit that shot versus the Jazz.
Like it wasn't getting better than that. Everyone was tired. How were you ever going to top the best player in the history of the game, who had the toughest playoff run of his career, starting to get up there in age...hitting a game winner in a Game 6 to win a championship?
That's a walk-off moment.
Michigan had that. Of course everyone was like, what's left?
JJ isn't winning a Heisman, plus I don't think he cares about a personal achievement.
I think going #1 would've been a goal because yes that's personal, but that's also about what it means to your family and friends. But JJ doesn't come from a family where his draft stock is going change everything.
In the end, it was time, after all the NCAA stuff, all the adversity, you could feel it as soon as JJ got the ball back to kneel out the game. This was over.
I'm excited for the future though! But we have to be bold and build this thing back up...if we just try to replicate the past, we will fail.
January 26th, 2024 at 8:43 AM ^
Not sure why this is being downvoted.
January 26th, 2024 at 12:57 PM ^
Things hit people differently I guess
January 26th, 2024 at 8:16 AM ^
I bet his wife and kids are torn. Going from laid back, home like A2 to LA. I fly into LAX twice year for business in Ontario and can’t wait to drive out and then fly back out. California is a beautiful state, but definitely not Midwest nice. I feel for his family…gotta be tough.
January 26th, 2024 at 10:51 AM ^
Yeah, it just suuucks to live in manhattan beach and the emotional support they’ll need when taking the hats, scarves, boots, gloves and down jackets to goodwill on the way to get fitted for their surf boards will be brutal!
Ontario is not LA 😂
January 25th, 2024 at 10:28 PM ^
Am I the only one who thinks it might actually be see you later? I just have this feeling Harbaugh comes back someday. Maybe I'm crazy.
January 25th, 2024 at 10:43 PM ^
I mean he’s 60 years old. I don’t know in what capacity you’d consider him “coming back” to in his mid 60’s.
January 25th, 2024 at 11:01 PM ^
Knowing the reverence he has for Bo, I don't think it would be shocking if he had a thought of wanting to be AD at some point.
With his stance on players getting a cut of TV revenue, working in the athletic department could be an avenue toward trying to make that a reality.
January 26th, 2024 at 12:10 AM ^
He would make a spectacular AD.
I also nominate we get a National Championship banner and Trophy on our MGoBlog banner.
