One of the funniest movies ever made.

Agreed! You can't make that type of movie today, so it will be archived for years and brought back in about 20 years when the pendulum swings back.

If you don't throw in your buck o five who will?
November 28th, 2023 at 6:43 PM ^
Agreed! Freedom isn’t free. It’s a hefty fucking fee

Love seeing the pain in Urban's eyes as he's forced to analyze Moore out-coaching Day. Warms my heart.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:44 PM ^
Is it me... or does there not seem to be any pain actually there?
November 28th, 2023 at 2:55 PM ^
He's hiding it well. I listened to Ben Hartsock this morning and that dude has been one of the more likeable guys the last few years. This morning, you heard an obvious change in tone as he stated that OSU is now officially looking up to Michigan.

urban meyer molests goats. and takes pictures of it.

HE SAID MICHIGAN
HA HA HA HA HA
(it was an accident, when he referred to central michigan)
SUCK ON IT URBS
November 28th, 2023 at 3:05 PM ^
Imagining the mental gymnastics the nuttiest of bucks go through to avoid that and howling.
“The central team up north— uh, no the team up central north? Can I say Centrichigan? Fuck!”
November 28th, 2023 at 3:22 PM ^
Well TTUN means That Team Undefeated in November, so they are really running out of options.
November 28th, 2023 at 4:36 PM ^
They have also gone to using TCUN, which I believe stands for The Champions Up North!
November 28th, 2023 at 4:43 PM ^
The should switch to TTAO (That Team Above Ohio).
November 28th, 2023 at 3:18 PM ^
I missed that. I was thinking that the most amazing part of his analysis was talking for nearly 4 minutes without using a single word that contains the letter 'm'.
Has anyone ever heard him pronounce his own name?
November 28th, 2023 at 2:26 PM ^
I would bet ANYTHING that Urban Meyer drew up some plays for Ryan Day again this year. Or at least consulted. In which case, Michigan needs to file a complaint about all the in-person scouting that Urban did on behalf of Ohio State.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:26 PM ^
Is it me or he enjoying twisting the knife a little here?
November 28th, 2023 at 2:44 PM ^
Urban loves this. He looks great by comparison.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:24 PM ^
typical narcissist
November 28th, 2023 at 3:49 PM ^
I imagine he can't stand seeing Harbaugh's protege coaching circles around his hand picked successor. Urban's probably wishing he chose Kevin Wilson or someone else to take over his throne
November 28th, 2023 at 4:21 PM ^
Pretty high praise he was giving out. Not a single "yeah-but...". I thought Urbs was spot on, but I still don't want him within 3 states of my daughter.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:29 PM ^
This is simply Urban's attempt to get Sherrone a HC job somewhere else now for eleventybillion dollars and out of Michigan as soon as possible.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:55 PM ^
I will admit I am jaded but this was my immediate reaction when I saw this as well. Urban Meyer doesn't do anything that isn't a benefit to his beloved OSU. Screw that guy.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:02 PM ^
Sherrone has earned an opportunity at a HC gig—-even here. If this helps Coach get a job—fantastic!
I have been vocal about my doubts about whether Moore can handle a job like Michigan so early in his career, but those have been erased by the past three weeks. If Harbaugh leaves I know the program will be in good hands.

I agree completely as far as game-day coaching. But being HC involves so much more. Sherrone deserves the opportunity. And I trust he will get that opportunity sooner rather than later. And I will be rooting for him. Hopefully he does indeed have the full package necessary.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:31 PM ^
Impressive Sherrone. Show him Moore $.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:32 PM ^
Urban is dying for Jim to leave Michigan.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:34 PM ^
Urban is writing Sherrone's resume for him.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:21 PM ^
Hot take: Urban Meyer hired the PI investigation against Harbaugh
November 28th, 2023 at 2:39 PM ^
We all hate/dislike Urban Meyer for obvious justified reasons, but listening to him talk football is awesome. He knows football so well. When he was in the booth for a season on ESPN it was really fun listening to him break down plays.
Like Tony Romo, but less likable.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:55 PM ^
He hates Michigan, but obviously respects the program. I recall they made him do a list of hardest players to prepare for as a coach, and they were all Wolverines.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:05 PM ^
Behind the hate from both programs there is an awareness that the guy across from you on that last game of the year is your equal in ability and preparation. Just look at the game Saturday. Hard fought, but played cleanly. No dirty shit.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:25 PM ^
Valid point. There was considerable respect shown by OSU when Zak went down and the chipiness that we have seen in the past seemed to be largely absent.
I believe that in large part the players have respect for each other because they know what it took to get there. The fans, not so much.
November 28th, 2023 at 5:44 PM ^
Also Seth's Neck Sharpies today on the tweaks that OSU made to stop Michigan's run game and specifically JJ keeps.
Looks like both teams really did spent most of the year prepping for each other.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:56 PM ^
Came here to post something similar. As much of a douche as he is, he is still by far the most knowledgable college football analyst IMO.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:52 PM ^
His QB run-based philosophy is to this day, probably the hardest offense to stop in college football. Hell, WE are using it against Ohio State because it is just too good not to. Urban will probably spend the next offseason coaching Ryan on how to use his QB's feet for once
November 28th, 2023 at 6:27 PM ^
If so, OSU better get another QB. Because McCord ain't that guy.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:40 PM ^
urb has flipped from propping up ryan day to undercutting him. he SO wants his old job back.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:45 PM ^
Someone needs to ask Urbs what he said on the sideline there when Rod Moore ended the game. Was he excited? Charles Woodson was excited, but Meyer turned around so I couldn't quite tell.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:45 PM ^
Meyer straight up stalking our coaching staff on our sideline. Barf.
November 28th, 2023 at 3:05 PM ^
Knowing Urban, it's certainly possible he was just following Sherrone to try and make a pass at Jenny Taft
November 28th, 2023 at 4:25 PM ^
Buddy needed a night out.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:52 PM ^
Huh…not one word about Michigan only winning because we were stealing signs. It’s almost as though Meyer and Dinardo know it’s all bullshit.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:54 PM ^
They know full well it is all BS and manufactured. Everyone in FOOTBALL knows this.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:56 PM ^
You just love to see it.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:57 PM ^
I hate the guy with a passion, but Game Recognize Game. He gives Sherrone the props that is 100% deserved. Something that whiny butthurt OSU fans (and some coaches!) can't seem to do. So many can't seem to fathom that it wasn't the flu, or the weather, or "just 5 plays", or Connor Stalions' Vast Network...it is simply that Michigan has better players and better coaches than them right now. Which - shocker! - is probably true of a team that has gone 37-3 since 2021.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:58 PM ^
In regards to the one dimensional talk the prior two weeks leading up to the game, I think they were trying to work on the running game which had underwhelmed all year because they knew passing against OSU would be tough. Our best chance at winning would be on the ground.
November 28th, 2023 at 2:59 PM ^
Meyer seems legitimately impressed with Moore’s performance as we are all. Sherrone did a brilliant job.
Cool to see.
