No, it doesn’t
November 25th, 2023 at 4:11 PM ^
I mean OSU is currently holding their third straight loss vs Michigan.
So it does exist to some degree.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:12 PM ^
We have the best defensive line as a collective and no holds on Ohio, the B1G is corrupt as fuck and tried their darnedest to will an ohio to victory and we still beat them without our HoF coach.
Well earned victory!
November 25th, 2023 at 5:56 PM ^
Yes. The corrupt conspiracy is so blatant. I would put real money on there being some discussion between Puppet Titty and the officiating crew to the effect of "make it look plausible but do what you can to get a win for OSU." I just re-watched the game - every scoring drive for OSU was ref-aided. That includes the most blatant hold on the outside that wasn't called, which paved the way for a key OSU TD.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:18 PM ^
The real cherry on top was Mason Graham somehow called for holding while he got tackled by a double team
November 25th, 2023 at 6:25 PM ^
I know right. I'm like Da'Fuk after that replay.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:24 PM ^
Joel Klatt arguing that refs upholding the Wilson TD was a bad call didn't help shit either. You can clearly see in the replay that Wilson catches the ball, then Burke hits it causing Wilson to re-clutch it to regain control and then after he hits the ground Burke rips it out. That's a catch Joel.
I like Joel but that was BS.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:05 PM ^
I was skeptical it would stand. 50-50 call. But those usually go as called in the field. Thank God!
November 25th, 2023 at 9:12 PM ^
Yeah I can appreciate Klatts opinions on his podcast but sometimes his in game analysis is way off.
The "that's a really good call by the official" on a DEFENSIVE LINE HOLDING??? Against Graham? It happens at 7:18 of the 2nd qtr. There's nothing there. At all. Klatt thinks it's a great call somehow. I continue to see new calls I've never seen before. All against the M.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:03 PM ^
Ryan Day is a fucking bitch!!!
November 25th, 2023 at 4:06 PM ^
And LOL Ryan Day "gave every ref on the field an earful" on the Wilson TD. Wilson is literally controlling the ball against his body 1 yard into the end zone and it's controversial.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:06 PM ^
All true. Props to refs for catching our DL fouling, but gotta call it both ways
November 25th, 2023 at 4:08 PM ^
I thought I saw a couple holds, but the refs let us keep Wilson's TD so, I won't complain.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:19 PM ^
"let" us keep Wilson's TD? He had total control for 2-3 steps. The ball was moving because Wilson was tucking it where is could not be stripped (until after he knew he scored.)
November 25th, 2023 at 4:40 PM ^
I think it was a TD, but if the refs were out to get us they could have overturned it.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
And his butt was on the ground at the time. That was a touchdown.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
There’s no question that was a TD
Zero
November 25th, 2023 at 4:12 PM ^
OSU holding three straight "L"
November 25th, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
How long have they been holding them?
November 25th, 2023 at 4:13 PM ^
Urban holding Ryan Day while he cries his heart out, maybe.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
hold my pizza
November 25th, 2023 at 4:14 PM ^
Yes, it does. If a defensive tackle is grabbed, and thrown to the ground by an offensive lineman, it is clearly defensive holding.
Didn't you learn anything from watching the game????
November 25th, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Baffling call.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:58 PM ^
Graham does that rip move all the time, and often really rips dudes out of the way. In the case in that game, he didn't even get any purchase and move the guy, and Klatt is like "great catch by the officials"
November 25th, 2023 at 4:15 PM ^
Holding against UM with B1G refs....especially against ohio, has not happened since well before Bo called the league out on their bias.
Michigan against the world is nothing new.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:16 PM ^
Just a wee bit of holding. The refs did what they could!
November 25th, 2023 at 4:21 PM ^
Who cares?!? Michigan vs. Everbody.
Don't forget to sing when you win
November 25th, 2023 at 4:32 PM ^
OSU linemen bear hugging Graham or Grant was on almost every replay, it was disgusting. But its all over now assholes! Ohio and the Big Ten threw everything they had at Michigan on and off the field and still lost. Soak that in. We have a whole program of jackhammers.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:38 PM ^
Saw about 20 holding calls on OSU….
November 25th, 2023 at 4:57 PM ^
No worse one than on one of their passing first downs, and a Buckeye was holding Josh Wallace most of the play right in front of one of the Zebras.
November 25th, 2023 at 4:48 PM ^
It does if you are Mason Graham while laying on the ground after getting held and mauled to the ground by two Buckeyes
November 25th, 2023 at 5:06 PM ^
I'll give osu one thing... that OL did great on offense with all that noise. No false starts. I have to tip my hat for that.
November 25th, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
Only for defense against Mason Graham
November 25th, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Refs and commentators tried their best, but we’re too good
November 25th, 2023 at 5:41 PM ^
In fairness, watching the iron bowl right now and they are also refusing to call very obvious holding calls. Kinda a rivalry game thing, I guess
What I thought was especially weak was their refusal to call illegal motion on the big Xavier Johnson 1st down. The TE in motion moved a good yard or 2 towards the line before the ball was snapped & should've been very obvious to the line judge. Just cowardly officiating.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:03 PM ^
If the CFP somehow lets OSU in again, it will be the most offensive, biased bullshit in the game. Michigan outplayed them by a significant margin. If it weren't for penalties against Michigan (some horrific ones) and non-calls against OSU, this would have been a bigger blowout than either of the last two years. Tony P. and his drinking buddies at OSU must be crushed at how hard they tried to steal this game from Michigan and how Michigan just would not be denied. Fucking awesome.
November 25th, 2023 at 6:19 PM ^
I also see punching Loveland in the face is also legal
November 25th, 2023 at 7:40 PM ^
I'll probably get negged for this but there were times i thought M was holding too, so I think they just turned holding off for both teams. The holding on graham was outrageous but otherwise I thought it was pretty even in the sense that they WERENT calling it.
Now, this isnt me defending anything else they did. They did everything they could to give OSU the game
November 25th, 2023 at 11:41 PM ^
That sh!t was absurd.
