What's Your Personal Top 10?
I firmly believe official polls and rankings shouldn't be allowed to be released until after week 4. Now that we're truly into the season, what's your personal top 10 rankings?
(I say "personal," because I'm not asking you to predict the top 10...who do YOU believe are the top 10 teams in the country?)

I just remembered. It's against Service policy for agents to give endorsements.

well, there was a girl in philadelphia....

Now I've got a hankering to watch some Bond. Give me 7 days of 007.
My ranking of actors playing James Bond
1. Sir (Thomas) Sean Connery
2. Daniel Craig
[Big Gap]
3. Pierce Brosnan
4. Sir Roger Moore
5. George Lazenby
6. Timothy Dalton
October 8th, 2023 at 1:41 PM ^
Roger Moore should be higher
October 8th, 2023 at 1:42 PM ^
Like, the top, higher.
October 9th, 2023 at 2:24 PM ^
Uh, no, just no....
October 8th, 2023 at 1:45 PM ^
I can see that. I'm pretty much indifferent between him and Pierce Brosnan. Maybe I"m just more down on the 70's portrayals of Bond. Those movies had some bad fashion and really bad special effects, IMO.
October 8th, 2023 at 3:59 PM ^
I sure wish I could still fit into that blue leisure suit I used to wear.
October 8th, 2023 at 7:53 PM ^
Cousin Eddie?
October 8th, 2023 at 1:42 PM ^
I always rank Brosnan higher, but I believe it's due to me growing up with him.
October 8th, 2023 at 2:24 PM ^
Brother? Next door neighbor?
October 8th, 2023 at 7:38 PM ^
Yeah. You can't drop that and not explain!!!
October 12th, 2023 at 11:10 AM ^
Sorry, that's classified!
October 8th, 2023 at 1:43 PM ^
Dalton was a good Bond with bad scripts.
October 8th, 2023 at 4:02 PM ^
I completely agree. He provided a bit more depth to the character. He looked angry when he was supposed to look angry.
October 8th, 2023 at 8:13 PM ^
...and they went a little to far worrying about charges of sexism, so the stories lost some of their cheekiness
October 8th, 2023 at 1:56 PM ^
sean connery always and ever #1 on that list. i had a bodyguard back in the day who could do a drop-dead great imitation of connery.
October 8th, 2023 at 4:01 PM ^
Sean was great on Jeopardy too.
October 8th, 2023 at 3:56 PM ^
I'll throw a monkey wrench into this. I'd move Timothy Dalton up to number 3.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:20 PM ^
I don't like adding opinion to the OP...so here is mine:
- Georgia
- Michigan
- Florida St.
- Washington
- Ohio St.
- Oregon
- Penn St.
- Oklahoma
- USC
- Texas
I'll be at Washington/Oregon next week, excited to see that matchup in person!
October 8th, 2023 at 1:22 PM ^
I think Washington is three
October 8th, 2023 at 1:22 PM ^
I think you have a strong argument.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:48 PM ^
Ah, a good ole fashioned (future) B1G slobberknocker
October 8th, 2023 at 1:50 PM ^
I think everyone on that list is better than OSU except USC.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:21 PM ^
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Oregon
4. Washington
5. Penn State
6. Ohio State
7. Oklahoma
8. FSU
9. USC
10. Michigan State lol
Real 10. Alabama
October 8th, 2023 at 1:25 PM ^
Alabama over Florida State is wild.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:26 PM ^
Bad omission.
Good catch
Fixed
October 8th, 2023 at 1:27 PM ^
Florida State not even on there?
October 8th, 2023 at 3:01 PM ^
Florida State would blow the doors off of Ohio State. Having OSU higher than FSU is… something.
October 8th, 2023 at 5:16 PM ^
I disagree with that completely. I got Ohio by 10 over FSU.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:23 PM ^
More a tier list among the undefeateds for me so far
Until They Lose
Georgia
Annihilating Jamokes
Michigan
Playoff Teams/Contenders
Washington
Oregon
Oklahoma
One Elite Unit
Penn State
USC
Suspected Frauds
Ohio State
Florida State
North Carolina
Louisville?
Louisville
Also think Texas is the best one loss team.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:25 PM ^
Curios as to why you think FSU is a suspected fraud and not a true contender. The BC game?
October 8th, 2023 at 1:28 PM ^
VT yesterday was also closer than the score indicated. And their "marquee" win is LSU who sucks.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:32 PM ^
I don't necessarily disagree. I could see your thinking, OSU is in the same grouping when their "marquee" win is over ND, who sucks.
So you're being consistent.
I personally can't separate FSU and OSU from PSU and Oregon...but I understand.
The frauds for me are the USCs of the world. I'd throw Bama in the group as well.
October 8th, 2023 at 3:02 PM ^
“VT yesterday was also closer than the score indicated.”
It… wasn’t. That’s wild.
October 8th, 2023 at 5:53 PM ^
Clemson also had FSU in trouble until a miraculous FSU fumble return when CU was about to score again. FSU will lose at least once during the regular season and that will eliminate them.
October 8th, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
Yeah agree. I do give credit for FSU for winning at Clemson. Clemson's not great but Death Valley is a tough place to play. Still, FSU kind of won the way OSU won at Notre Dame. Gave me the same kind of feeling. Outplayed for stretches. Found a way in the end, but not a very convincing way.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:35 PM ^
I had OSU as suspected fraud until the second half yesterday. They decided to just commit to a pass first spread and it struck fear in the hearts of men.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:58 PM ^
I mean yeah but they had to resort to that because they couldn't win the line of scrimmage against Maryland and that is not good for them.
October 8th, 2023 at 2:54 PM ^
If they just accept it and throw to their 4 pro receivers it might be.
October 8th, 2023 at 2:29 PM ^
That's fundamentally a problem for them. 1 dimensional team leaning into their 1 strength is only something you do when you need to admit you're 1 dimensional.
October 8th, 2023 at 8:16 PM ^
...and not a good way to prepare for other[sic] tough teams
October 8th, 2023 at 1:26 PM ^
What two coaches looked at OSU this weekend and were like yeah they’re the best team in the country?
October 8th, 2023 at 1:28 PM ^
Two that likely put Bama over Texas.
Coaches shouldn't vote.
October 8th, 2023 at 5:54 PM ^
In fairness to the coaches, AP writers also shouldn't vote.
October 8th, 2023 at 3:07 PM ^
My thought exactly. I have zero cares that we didn’t get any first place votes, but that Ohio State got two is everything we need to know about the irrelevancy of polls - especially the coaches poll.
October 8th, 2023 at 3:14 PM ^
Ryan Day and Marcus Freeman.
October 8th, 2023 at 1:26 PM ^
1. Michigan
2. Georgia
3. Washington
4. Penn State
5. Oklahoma
6. Oregon
7. Alabama
8. OSU
9. North Carolina
10. FSU
Totally forgot Texas ugh
October 8th, 2023 at 1:28 PM ^
You first. I'll just say Michigan gets a lot of respect in my top 2.
